This is our first robot vacuum and I am 100% converted. My worry was that it wouldn’t do a good enough job at sucking up but boy am I happy with it! It performs really well.. the auto empty dock is a must and makes it a completely touchless experience. The only con so far is that I would like some more fine tuning of the mapping process. For example, being able to add in doorways so the device knows if the door is shut that it isn’t a hard wall and that next time if it’s open that it can go in.. the other thing would be to remove some areas to clean up the map. It mapped our outside deck and stairs as rooms so I would like to be able to remove them. Maybe you can do this but I am still new to it. Do not hesitate to get one of these they are incredible!

With three cats regular vacuuming is a must. My son who loves outsourcing to technology bought one for his apartment. Because of COVID lockdown he wasn’t able to move into his apartment and stayed at my place for a few months. This is when I was introduced to Herby his S7 model. Loved it from the start and decided to buy one. The setting up was easy care of my son!I use it daily for the living areas and every three days for the rest of the house. I have had the vacuum suction up laptop cords, my daughter’s sock and a magazine I left in the floor! The upside is that it sends a message to your phone if something is stuck or if you are in the room you will hear a message.The only hassle initially was cleaning out the dustbin in the S7. Sometimes I would notice it wasn’t picking up stuff, stopped it and found the dustbin was full. Purchasing the dock station changed all this as it cleans the S7 dustbin and recharges the battery when it docks. If I see it is not picking up stuff I send the vacuum back to the dock on my app to suction out the dustbin. I only need to empty the docking station dust container every 8 or so full house vacuums which is awesome. Do you have to buy the dock? Not essential if you are happy to manually clean out the dustbin however I have found the dock super convenient.My highlight was sitting at the coffee shop the other day and my phone app notified me that my vacuuming was starting! Returned home to a clean floor. Sublime! Awesome product and have had five peeps in my street purchase one once they saw what mine could do. Thanks for a great product!

I ordered the s7+ bundle with auto empty dock at launch (23rd Nov 2021). Sales (via chat) was very courteous to deal with while placing the order. After waiting 2 weeks for the product to arrive (thanks to auspost!), I was super excited when my s7+ arrived on 8th Dec 2021. First impressions were great, the s7 mapped my whole house, cleaned and mopped and emptied itself in between charges. Robbie the robot vacuum has been a great addition to our house. With two German Shepherd dogs, the hair tumbleweeds were becoming a tiresome problem. We have mostly hard flooring and Robbie does a respectable job at picking up the mess. I particularly chose this model for the rubber brush and dock. I have previously owned different brand with bristle brush and no dock. This upgrade has definitely been worth it and i have not had any problems with hair getting caught around the brush and the emptying doc works fine. The mopping function it a bit ordinary but still helpful. I've found the best thing to do is get the bot to do 2-3 cycles on turbo mop to get the floor clean. We are very happy with it.However, there are quite some issues with the Auto Empty Dock. From the 10x house cleaning the Auto empty function worked only 3-times and 7-times not.The main reason I see is that the vacuum is not good with long hair. I did normal vacum one of the room and then use our S7 to vacum again , surprisingly it sucked so much more, and so impressive and strong. It feels more like you have an extra help at home specially if you have kids. Out floor is timber with and few carpets around. Price: I wish if it was slightly cheaper so everyone could afford to get this awesome machine. I purchased a roborock S7 with doc from them and the doc was faulty so they told me to post it back and they would send a replacement. The doc was delivered in November and I still haven't received a replacement doc and they don't respond to emails. I'd highly recommend buying from Robotspecialist (robotspecialist.com.au) as their customer service is outstanding and they go above and beyond. I've had dealings with Nathan and he was brilliant. The roborock works well I'm very happy with it. The doc I had was faulty so can't really comment. I have tiles and carpet in my house and am happy with both the vacuuming and mopping function. We have a pretty high use house (3 kids and a dog on a big block), and we empty the main dustbin every month or so.Only issues is the roller brush getting jammed with hair, but this happens with any power head vacuum, and it’s easy to cleanMop function is great, it might scratch the floor a bit if the mop head has sand on it, but all good so far.We don’t use it for rugs or carpet so not sure what it’s like for that. It just kept getting tangled on the long pile so we set it to avoid and we use a stick vac still for quick cleans or rugs, as well as the kids rooms cause even though we threatened the robot would eat their toys… they still don’t pick up Lego etc, so the stick it is.Great product, wish we could use the new dock that auto fills the water, but otherwise stoked
