You go to the next step and simply re-find the suction robot with wiping function. With its dual camera supported by artificial intelligence, it bypasses lying objects or even remains of pets without violating your privacy. Thanks to its infrared image system even in the dark. The innovative sonic technology makes the wiper blade vibrate 3000 times per minute and together with an outstanding suction power of 5100Pa, it provides for shiny floors. When a carpet is in the way, the Roborock S7 MaxV Plus recognizes this thanks to the latest ultrasonic sensors and simply lifts the wiper attachment. The associated automatic suction station means that you no longer need to empty the dust tank and it can also be used without a dust bag. This text is machine translated.

I had my previous Roborock vacuum for 7 years and it still runs and does a pretty good job. I bought the S7 Max V with the combo wash, fill, empty dock and I couldn't be happier with them. The first thing I noticed is the S7 Max V is remarkably quieter than my previous vac. Also the addition of cameras and lights to augment the robots "vision" and the in built reactive AI make it way more resilient to rouge items on the floor, cables, socks, any thing below the laser that would have been before is now (mostly) picked up my the cameras and avoided before the robot can get stuck. Occasionally a cable or a particularly flat sock does catch the robot up, but it seem to happen less if the room is well lit. The mopping performance is very very good, I have a wood laminate through the entry, dining room, kitchen and living room with an area rug in the livingroom and a small door mat rug thing with some fringe, the bathrooms are two different types of tile with the bedrooms and hallways being carpeted, I have had no issues with the robot mopping where it shouldn't, It detects what is fabric and what is not and leaves a respectable distance between any transitions before putting down the mop pad, the small fringed rug is sometimes moved a bit and i suspect its getting dragged by the mop dropping early. I will say the dock adds the feature where the mop pad is washed every 20 minutes so its always fairly fresh. My floors look new getting mopped and vacuumed every day. The brush design on the S7 Max is designed to not get as clogged with hair and short term experience says yes this silicone only design is working as intended, my partner has long hair and I am well bearded so this is usually a problem. All in all I 100% reccomend this vacuum and if you can swing it the dock is in my mind a no brainer. However even without the dock this robot is an awesome improvement, if it lasts half as long as my old one ill be happy.

I've been paying attention to the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra since the CES exhibition. What attracts me the most is its four self functions, self emptying, self mop washing, self cleaning, and self refilling. This is completely an invention of freeing hands ! After months of waiting, I finally got it! About the package, it's a little lighter than I thought. The largest box contains the base station with a very high-tech look, an additional disposable bag(can be used for 7 weeks), a manual in three languages. Including English, French and Spanish. And the robot is delivered with the mop support. My one-month user experience of it. The mapping is very fast, the cleaning path is well planned with the LiDAR navigation. I like its cleaning performance, it can clean up a lot of hair and small particles that fall on the floor with its 5100 Pa suction. I don't have to clean again at all! Roborock also upgraded its obstacle avoidance with ReactiveAI 2.0, which allows ultra to avoid more obstacles more perfectly. Overall I really like this product. I also got an H7 Pure cordless vacuum for its early bird sale, which just what I needed in my house. So, it's not very expensive for me .

The add-on mopping function I always (erroneously) considered a bit of a gimmick. Believing then that a stand-alone mopping specific robot was necessary. That was until I started seeing in-depth reviews and reading users experience for the S7 MaxV Ultra. Where before I would think, âyeh cool that could be helpful,â I now say, âyes, thatâs a true labor saver!âI now vacuum AND mop my entire house daily. Generally speaking, all I need do is periodically empty the dirty mop water and keep the clean water reservoir topped up. Before the robot, Iâd wait to vacuum, only when the dust and fur bunnies would be an embarrassment were I to have unexpected. Even then it would be only a vacuuming it ever got. Mopping was too much of a chore for a single man and his dog. Since the robot, I now rarely see any residual dog for about. When I do, itâs outta sight after the next running. Before, Iâd always slip on my flip-flops to move about the house. Now, I donât mind walking around barefooted as household nasties arenât clinging to the bottom of my feet. Also, I feel my house is generally less dusty overall. This, as this dust that settles on the floor isnât getting kicked-up by as we walk and move about. My only niggles are is that dog fur is collecting around the end of the roller axel. It can be difficult to removed it all. The other being that the onboard dust bin doesnât/didnât always self-empty. To be fair, now that it has run daily in my home for several weeks, what gets collected day to day is very minimal. Initially when the dust bin was getting quite filled, thatâs when I had the emptying issue. Also then, I may not have completely seated the filter in the dust bin. Now I make sure to give the filter a firm push at the corners to assure it has completely seated. Otherwise, no real complaints from me. Long term reliability is still a question mark though. However, I must physically carry it downstairs. When I do, it feels robust, solid and well-built with a satisfying heft. Were it not a brand new product, I would say I dunno how I ever lived without it! Iâve recommended to several friends already.Cheers!

We have been using the robot for almost 5 weeks. Therefore, we can now give the first conclusion: It has an incredible base station that you stock with clean water and it will empty the waste bin of the vacuum and remove used water and replace it with clean water so it can vacuum and mop for weeks at a time without needing any input from a human being. The robot has really intelligent mapping functionality and great navigation. It doesn't miss a thing. Features of the app: This connects to the vacuum cleaner via WiFi and sets it up completely! The robot gets to know the entire apartment through the mapping, as it drives through all areas at least once. The apartment can then be divided into rooms, restricted zones can be set up. There is a rubber roller under the vacuum cleaner, which picks up the dirt well. In addition, there is a brush on the front right, which rotates constantly and throws the dirt in front of the vacuum cleaner! Overall it's probably the best robot vacuum on the market, its suction and empty function are highly impressive, the battery life is excellent, the functionality is crazy and although the high price tag, I still think this is a good value for money purchase in the long term.
This is a game changer for our household and allows us to not have to take a significant amount of time out of our schedules to clean the floors in our large house. We have three minor critiques and that is the reason for 4 stars rather than 5. Firstly, thick plush rugs you have to make a no go zone, it cannot vacuum that area without pulling the rugs along or up; and too thin rugs it cannot detect and will mop over making it wet. Be sure to set all no go and no mop zones ahead of use and do not assume auto-detection. Secondly, mirrors, reflective surfaces, and curved legs on furniture cause issues and it will run into these. It will ride up curved furniture legs, run into our girls reflective gold chair legs, and freeze/not continue at the full length mirror that ... MoreThis is a game changer for our household and allows us to not have to take a significant amount of time out of our schedules to clean the floors in our large house. It will ride up curved furniture legs, run into our girls reflective gold chair legs, and freeze/not continue at the full length mirror that goes to the floor. If it is to vacuum their rooms, I put the chairs up and move the mirrors. Lastly, you must have a tidy home for it to clean your home. Probably sounds about right, but I mean tidy. Bad thing with working from home and having kids, we have papers everywhere including all floors. It will not see these papers or think its the floor and mow over them. Be sure to clear all floors of any type of paperwork or documents before launching the Roborock. Other than those items, which we think are minor for all the positives, it is something to be aware of. We fell in love with the self empty, refill, mop cleaning dock that makes this a game changer. Alerts show when something needs to be refilled or emptied. We also like that we can tell it to go to a spot, because we have multiple floors; this allows us to tell it to go to the stairs and we carry it up/down. Full map, room and zone cleaning is very helpful and way more useful than we ever thought. We are big cooks which equals a big mess, so we have it on a schedule to clean the kitchen every night along with the whole house twice a week. If any area gets dirtier sooner, we simply tell it to clean there. This has taken something off our plates and allowed us to have more time with family and not dread cleaning the floors or have that time wasted.
Huge improvement from my automated vacuum cleaner from five years ago. So far, I have been impressed with the enhanced avoidance features along with the overall cleaning ability of the vacuum on tile floors / low pile rugs and the option to have light-duty mopping. The vacuum noise level in "low" cleaning mode is not loud but is very noticeable in the Max mode. The dock is a nice addition that allows the robot cleaner to auto-clean as required. The downsides so far are (1) only does an average job of getting pet hair located along the wall or close to furniture (2) the cleaning unit has occasional trouble when working under the table with chairs around and becomes stuck and (3) the base station is quite large and could be more aesthetic designed. The physical ... MoreHuge improvement from my automated vacuum cleaner from five years ago. The phone app is not hard to use but could have a better design in my opinion. Setting up of the room/zones and the virtual walls took some time to the layout but allows for quick selection of on-demand cleaning or the scheduling of weekly/daily cleaning. My initial impression of the S7 MaxV Ultra after three weeks of almost daily use is that I am impressed! Yes, the unit is expensive and long-term reliability is unknown. But as a family with two dogs (heavy shedding), two cats, and two teenagers; all the cleaning assistance provided by Roborocks is a plus.
You know this industry segment is still very young when the best robot vacuum by far which is this S7 MaxV Ultra has quite a few areas to improve on but all in all. I LOVE IT!This is advanced AI coupled with top level engineering at its finest for robot vacuum cleaners. At this point, Roborock is Roborock's biggest competitor - however, there's def room for improvement. Below is everything the bot does really well that are selling points. Still misses threads and small particles from time to time. (hardware fix)- Ability to copy routines and schedules (software fix)- Ability to save zones just like we do with rooms (software fix)- Ability to rearrange routines order so they show up on the homescreen shortcut in the order we want (software fix)- Ability to delete rooms (software fix)- App update for things like: Create shortcut for schedules on home screen for quicker access (software fix), Ability to select custom shape for zone cleaning, currently square shape (software fix), etc.- Bigger tires to clear higher obstacle climbs. See image of my bathroom wedge that it couldnt climb. If yours is this high too then forget about it, it won't make it. (hardware fix)- D design bot shape instead of circle to allow bot to reach corners and hard to reach areas (hardware fix)- Mop auto lift needs to be improved for higher height carpet clearanceSo why the 5 star rating? Because the best features greatly outweigh the need foe improvements, in addition most of the improvements are software changes that Roborock can easily implement with firmware upgrades.
We were looking for the most autonomous robot mop/vacuum out there so did a lot of research before investing in this little beast. While I must admit it was a steep investment, Roborockâs flagship model is the greatest of innovations and has far exceeded our expectations! The S7 MaxV itself is a heavy solid sleek looking unit that doesnât feel tinsey in your hands. The onboard voice call and camera are handy features to have as you can check in on the robot remotely in real time. It has exceptional obstacle avoidance though depending on colour/thickness of certain cables isnât always perfect at detecting them because of their low profile, though we havenât found our Roborock needing help with any cables. We have very unforgiving light porcelain tiles and hardwood floors throughout our home with the occasional shaggy pile floor rug in the living areas. It vacuums and mops our entire home on a single charge while set on âBalanced vacuumâ and âIntensive mopâ scrubbing mode. For a 4 bedroom, 3 lounge room, 2 bathroom home this is quite a feat! You donât have to pre-wet the mop pad if you also have the Ultra Wash/Fill dock as this takes care of it for you. Weâve programmed our robot to return to the dock and wash the mop pad every 10mins so that itâs not dragging a dirty pad around. I highly recommend the 10 min interval as I find itâs the easiest way to maximise mopping performance and achieve the most immaculate result with your floors. The robot is clever enough to lift the mop plate every time itâs returning to the dock for a wash so that it doesnât leave a rogue mop trail on its return path, which I appreciate. The mopping performance itself is truly unbeatable. Streak free, clean shiny floors on the first pass in all low traffic areas. We programme it to clean twice in the kitchen and main living area as these are usually the floors with heavier grime that require more agitation. We find by the second pass all marks and stains are cleaned up. Something worth noting is that while the robot touts the ability to lift the mop pad when it detects carpet, we find that it doesnât provide enough clearance for our deeper pile rugs, so weâve programmed it to avoid these rugs during a mop cycle which works perfectly for us. If you have carpet though, the Roborock gives you enough clearance and would work just fine, itâs only deep pile rugs that have proven to be a challenge. The robot has an onboard water tank which is small but not a problem if you also have the Ultra Wash/Fill dock which comes with the large water storage container. The Ultra dockâs mop washing performance is truly incredible. It doesnât have the ability to dry your mop but the mop plate is raised high enough when docked to allow for circulation. As part of our ongoing maintenance routine however we opt to remove the pad between big cleans anyway so we can throw it in the washing machine and then let it air dry until we need to use it again. I would much prefer doing this than have the dock take 5 hours to automatically dry the pad for me.The mop plate is super easy to access as it can be removed from the front of the robot while docked via a slide out which is very convenient as you donât have to flip the robot on its back to remove the pad.Vacuuming is equally impressive on this robot, with the highest suction power (5100 PA) of any other robot vacuum on the market to date. We havenât had to use the max suction power setting so far because other than a few rugs, we donât have carpet in our home or any pets, so 5100PA is a bit of overkill for low maintenance floors, but still nice to have. The dock comes with a dust bag already installed and one spare. It would be handy if it also came with an extra mop pad as well but also not a big deal.If I had to improve anything on this unit it would be the dust bags. Currently they are disposable, and while they will last you a while, the ongoing cost seems excessive given the price point of this unit. It makes much more sense to have a reusable or bagless option which also lends itself to being environmentally conscious in 2022. Rumour has it however a reusable option is already in the pipeline for Roborock.I think it would also be good to have the ability to set the frequency of emptying the dustbin. Currently this is standard and automatically set to occur only once at the end of each cleaning cycle, which I find rather impractical for our large home as the onboard dustbin fills up quite quickly. I havenât noticed a full dustbin being a hindrance to the vacuums overall performance however. If you have a large home and youâre overly concerned by this you can always program the robot to clean half the house at a time. That way it returns to the dock to empty the dustbin at the end of the first cleaning cycle and then goes back out to clean the second half of the house with an empty dustbin.A handy feature on the app is selecting the sequence you would like each room cleaned in and the ability to adjust the intensity of the clean per room. We set it to clean the house from front to back and the kitchen last.Mapping is quick and super easy to set up and absolutely spot on, though if you have floor to ceiling windows or glass slide doors Iâd recommend closing your blinds/curtains before performing the first map of your home so your robot can detect a wall and reflect this for the respective room on the map.It would also be super handy to have the ability to view the water level on the app for the clean/dirty water tanks on the Wash/Fill dock, though in all fairness you are notified when the clean water tank is running low, or dirty water tank is reaching capacity.Overall if youâre thinking of investing in a robot mop/vacuum then I can strongly recommend this powerhouse. The Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra revolutionises the robot vacuum industry. Buy with confidence because the only thing you will ever regret is not buying it sooner.
I got this robo vacuum to run the house in the new year because I got new hard floors laid on December 31 last year. I just had 88sqm of epoxy flooring laid in all the main living, kitchen, dining, and hallways. In my split level home, 6sqm of floor is downstairs and the main 82sqm of flooring is upstairs. The robot doesn't do downstairs at all. I call this robot "Raffa".Initial unboxing went as expected. "Raffa" came very well packaged and supplied with manuals and charging base. I opted to purchase the S7 MaxV on its own without the bigger base that empties Raffa because I just couldn't justify the massive extra cost. Its so simple to take Raffa's dust bin out and empty it myself. After installing the Roborock app, I completely setup the app and fine tuned ... MoreI got this robo vacuum to run the house in the new year because I got new hard floors laid on December 31 last year. I opted to purchase the S7 MaxV on its own without the bigger base that empties Raffa because I just couldn't justify the massive extra cost. Its so simple to take Raffa's dust bin out and empty it myself. After installing the Roborock app, I completely setup the app and fine tuned Raffa's settings to my preferences. After giving Raffa a full charge, I turned him on and like the audible speaking sounds that come from it. It's like having a conversation between us. I let him go on his merry way to do his initial mapping of the floor space. It took a little while for him to complete the mapping and I almost watched him do the whole house because I was just so intrigued. When Raffa finished, I checked the map and it seems a perfect layout of my actual floor space with all benches, furniture, fish tank, etc shown on the map as obstacles. Its good to watch him approach obstacles with caution, suss them out, and go around them.So with the house mapped out, I set up individual rooms and invisible boundaries. Although he first mapped the house with all room doors closed because I don't want him doing the bedrooms for my own reasons, I needed to setup invisible barriers to prevent Raffa from going into spaces that I want him to stay out of. If you look at my supplied pic, you can see the mapping of the house with my barriers setup by those red lines. He still can scan into the rooms when the doors are open and see an open space - he just doesn't go in there. With a 6 metre glass sliding doors leading out to the alfresco, he was first confused and tried to climb the door tracks to get outside in the open space, but the clear glass was preventing him from getting outside. So an invisible barrier fixed that issue. There are 4 standard vacuum strengths and a Max+ option to give the highest suction strength. I haven't tried Max+. I found the first two levels not quite enough for my liking so I only leave it on level 3 "Turbo" for all my hard floors. The higher the suction level, the louder it gets. "Turbo" mode is a good balance between a good vacuum performance and sound level.I never did want this model robot for a mopping option. But I did try the mopping option just to see what it was all about. After one use of mopping, I won't use it ever again. My delicate epoxy floors are now scratched with long straight scratch lines over the whole floor. It must have been grit or something stuck on the mopping pad and being dragged along the whole floor. I can only notice the scratches in certain lights and angles. I'm fairly certain tiles or non-shiny painted surfaces will not get scratched like a high gloss clear epoxy coating does. Glossy real timber flooring might suffer scratches. But in mopping mode, it did a decent job with the clean. The vacuum can be set to vacuum only, vacuum and mop in the one go, or just mop only.As you can see in my example, today is Tuesday and I have automatically scheduled Raffa to just clean specified rooms. I have him set to run each and everyday on vacuum mode. Different days have different set areas to clean, but the main areas like kitchen, hallway, and living room get done everyday. Thats the beauty of Raffa - everything is automated and I don't have to do anything other than empty his bin once a week or fortnight. We have two dogs so most of the dustbin is their hair among lots of fluffy dust. I have no idea where it comes from because the floors look clean. But Raffa still picks up a lot that I don't see.Battery power is very good. On "Turbo" vacuum only mode, I have about 60% battery remaining after completing a full 82sqm clean. The vacuum and mop mode together were about to complete the whole floor area too. I can't recall battery percentage in that mode, but it didn't have to recharge part way through it's clean. If Raffa does run low on battery during use, he will stop where he is, take note of what he is up to, and return to the dock to top up his charge. Once full of charge, he will return to where he stopped and finish off his cleaning routine so that no floor space is left uncleaned. One major thing that trips Raffa up and almost sends him haywire are cords. He absolutely hates cords on the floor. He gets all tangled up and drags them around and eventually stops his clean and shuts down. He can easily approach other small objects and avoid them by going around them and continues on his trajectory, but once he comes across a cord or cable, he thinks he can just mow over it and be fine. He's not fine! You must pick up the cords or have them hidden behind or under furniture. The app sends notifications to my phone. I get notified when the cleaning starts, when it finishes, and any issues that may have come about during the clean. The other day I got notified that the main brush was jammed and cleaning has stopped. Once I got home I realise he has tried to swallow a phone charging cord. So I untangled that and he resumed on his merry way. Whilst I was out another day, I got notification that he had started his clean. I remembered there and then that he wasn't supposed to clean because I had lots of tools, screws, etc laying on the living floor from a half completed flat pack assembly. So from the phone app, I could pause Raffa's clean and wait till I get home to tidy up his scheduled area. All in all, its a fantastic purchase and a very smart piece of equipment. It is fully customisable and automated. Cleaning performance is great. The parts that will require changing in the future are readily available and cheap. The parts are easily accessible on the robot and simple to change. Obstacle avoidance is almost perfect, apart from cables/cords. Battery life is fantastic. Adjustable suction power is very sufficient. Mopping does a great job, but just not on delicate high gloss coated floors. The app is fantastic.
We have been a fan of Roborock's robotic vacuum cleaners for a while now. Our beloved Sally, a Roborock S5 Max, was our first foray into robotic cleaners and was the reason we decided to splurge on the S7 MaxV robot vacuum cleaner. We love our S5 Max, and Sally still dutily cleans the upstairs of our house. Downstairs, we needed something that did a better mop job and had greater suction. There are a few options out there, but already loving Sally, we decided to stick with Roborock and get the S7 MaxV. In so many ways, the S7 MaxV changes the game. The sonic mopping feature is noticeable in how good of a job it does. We live in an area with red dirt the kids and dogs bring into the house. Our beloved Sally, a Roborock S5 Max, was our first foray into robotic cleaners and was the reason we decided to splurge on the S7 MaxV robot vacuum cleaner. The upgraded mopping pad is incredible in how well it cleans. While we wanted a robot cleaner that could vacuum and mop, we chose the S7 MaxV because of its obstacle avoidance. As much as we love our S5 Max, Sally is a bit bulldozer when it comes to cleaning. The primitive approach to obstacle avoidance is bashing into walls and furniture to find the boundaries and limitations of a room. The kids leave their toys on the floor sometimes, our dog has an accident, or something gets left on the floor. Sally would have run over those or got tangled. The annoying thing with our S5 Max was needing to clean up before our robot could clean. You had to prepare the rooms you wanted to clean, which was always annoying. The S7 MaxV, to a certain degree, allows you just to set it and forget it. In most instances, it will avoid obstacles and has an impressive feature where it can identify the type of obstacle. It detected our double sofa and identified it on the map. It will detect shoes and waste matter on the floor that you don't want to be dragged around. Where the S7 MaxV isn't quite there in terms of obstacle avoidance is cables. While it will sometimes identify cables and go around them, I have noticed that every so often, it will still get tangled around charging cables and leads left on the floor. Maybe twice a week, you'll come downstairs hoping to see Harry has completed his scheduled cleaning, only to discover he isn't at his dock and is tangled around some headphones in the hallway. Shortly before posting this review, Harry got himself into another mess. We had some curtains waiting to be hung up on the floor. Forgetting, we have Harry scheduled to clean at 6 am every morning. We came downstairs to find the curtains tangled in the main brush. But, before our S7 MaxV stopped, it had dragged those curtains around the floor, knocking a large bowl of dog water onto it. We came downstairs and thought maybe a pipe was leaking in the kitchen. The obstacle avoidance hardware is there, but I think Roborock needs to continue improving this feature on a software level. It's one of the primary reasons for not giving this review five stars. There are some gimmicky features like the ability to remotely see through the camera on the S7 MaxV, which we don't use. We got Harry for vacuuming and mopping, which he does pretty well. Despite the obstacle avoidance hiccups, it's a trouble-free life. We also purchased the auto-wash empty dock too. We hesitated a bit because the dock itself is almost as much as the S7 MaxV. We got it because our experience with the S5 Max taught us that you must clean your robot often. The mop cloth needs to be cleaned often, and things like emptying the dustbin and refilling the water tank require effort. We've gone from daily maintenance to weekly maintenance. With the dock, it will wash the mop pad, empty the dustbin and refill the water tank. If you can afford it, it's the perfect accessory for the S7 MaxV. Overall between the S7 MaxV and the auto-wash empty dock, we have never been happier. I know this vacuum is expensive, but it's one of the best you can buy on the market right now. If our S5 Max is any indication, the S7 MaxV will last a very long time.
