Sadly some the parts in my tea store diy were warped and before I realized the outline of several pieces was to function as the floor it had been disposed of. It just was not a great experience, really cute kit though. Would recommend this just throw nothing away.

Horrible customer service. This review is regarding the company rather than the product. I ordered an item on November 28th for a Christmas present. After not hearing anything and my order page not updating, I contacted them on the 6th. They took 4 days to respond at which point they said the item had been returned to them. Not only was that most likely a lie they requested verification of my address before they would send it out again. Of course with their response delay that means another 4 days before its shipped. This time the order status actually updated. I finally got the item today, January 12th. Just in time for Christmas, right?They offered no apology or proof of them having shipped it the first time. Alice in Wonderland project with exquisite details

This was a gift for my mother who enjoys making the houses featured in Spotlight stores. The details of this particular project were beautiful and the overall process has been enjoyable for my mother so far.

Harder Than it Looks

Here’s my advice if you purchase one of these kits: Don’t throw anything away. While not noted in the instructions, some of the wood frames holding the smaller pieces are used later. Be prepared to spend a lot of time cutting TINY pieces of paper, folding TINY pieces of paper, gluing TINY decorative pieces to other TINY pieces, and just plain gluing every single item in the kit. Nothing comes pre-constructed. I also didn’t use all the tools called for, but I did use a better, smaller pair of tweezers than what was provided. Lastly, these kits take time, steady hands, and patience. Did I like the end result? Sure … but I’d never build another one.

Kept my wife occupied for a while :-)

Bought this for my wife for Christmas. It was a bit fiddly, but excellent quality, and a fantastic end result. She’s far more arty than me. It wouldn’t have looked half as good if I’d done it!

The light did not work, in spite of checking and following the instructions carefully. The wooden pieces although accurately cut and good to put together had a very poor aesthetically pleasing finish, but I did enjoy doing it. Waiting for the next one!

Lovel model greenhouse

Enjoyed working on this. A lot of small bits and needs a lot of careful glueing. A enjoyable pastime. Takes patience but looking forward to the final production.

This is a Xmas gift for my daughter in law. I am pleased with every aspect of the item so far. Secure parcel, prompt delivery, and looks really nice. Can't wait to see finished product.

I wasn't sure about doing this one but I ordered it and it is one of my favorites. The wood piece for the back of the drawer was broken but not all the way through so I was still able to use it. The wood piece that had to be glued to the wood piece that went on top of the desk was warped so I had to use clamps at each corner to get it to glue flat but, I am really pleased with how it looks,
