4/5 stars overallI've been using the Leadr for about 2 weeks now and I'm very pleased with it! This is my first proper gaming mouse, so my standards probably weren't as high as others. Roccat would have to update the software with a fix to work with Windows on it. Some power users finagled them to work, but I didn't really care enough to go through the trouble. This is mainly what docked the star since I was excited about the possibility of quick macrosThe cord included fits VERY snugly and is actually difficult to remove from the docking station and the mouseThe 2 buttons on the left side of the left click are kind of hard to reach comfortably for meI'm overall super pleased and love the mouse so far. Will update if anything changes my opinion

The Kone Aimo mouse by Roccat is an excellent mouse for anyone who is into gaming. It has provided a smooth and precise experience while playing many different genres of games, especially FPS and battle royale games, where speed and precision is necessary. I really like the design of the mouse itself, as it is very pleasing to the eye. I think it’s pretty cool that you can customize the colors of the LED lighting. The mouse feels very sturdy and has a good amount of grip to it, and appears to be very durable. The cord is pretty long too, at least a couple feet. The size of the mouse is great too, it’s perfect for those with medium or large hands. The buttons feel very high quality and are pleasing to press. I wanted this mouse the moment I seen it on the wall at my Microcenter. The look of it (white) was just so striking I had to have it. After checking the packaging I seen that the DPI was topped out at 16000, 2000 less than my Corsair Glaive. I use my mice at max DPI but the difference was not so bad and matched the 502 Hero I was using before. Also the glaive was suffering an annoying issue that had me on the hunt for a new mouse anyway.Out of the box I was unimpressed with the lack of extras. Without doing any research on the mouse before getting it I was surprised at the lack of a weight system, particularly since the mouse is pretty heavy as it is. I like a heavy mouse but for those that like a light and quick flick mouse the lack of weights combined with a heavy mouse is going to be a problem. The button layout for the Kone Aimo is excellent. Left and right click are obvious and the forward and back buttons are easy to get at but not so easy as to be accidentally clicked. The DPI setting up and down buttons are where they should be and the mouse wheel has the typical scroll and click but also includes tilting to the left or right. The T3 button is where things deviate from the norm. The magical third T button is placed on the edge of the thumb rest and is a dream. This button placement os nothing new, even my ancient R.A.T. MMO had one, but this one is just perfectly placed. I can use the mouse normally and have never accidentally hit the button yet when I want to press it I do not even have to adjust my thumb position, just press a bit. It really works out wonderfully. The RGB on this mouse is fantastic. It is VERY customizable and the software is easy to use and a very light install. It is not nearly as useful as iCue, but then again what is?All in all this mouse is pretty close to perfect for me. The minor downgrade in DPI was worth it for the T3 button alone. The lack of weight adjustment gets a star knocked off but otherwise this is a fantastic product.

For a large hand gamer who prefers palm grip, this mouse was def' on the list. It's perfect for large hands, great for palm grip (except it's a little short at the rear and lacks a bit of support for the heel of your hand), the software is easy to use, the RGB is awesome, it's light enough for FPS games....but,I had to stop using it for two distinct and deal breaking issues.1. Slippery, this is a shiny slippery sucker that is difficult to raise off the pad for a fast 'turn-around'. I know I could get grip tape for it, but that's only one issue.2. My large thumb is able to hit the T2 and T3 buttons at the same time without meaning to. Now that is frustrating!!! I thought of disabling or re-assigning keys, but that would defeat the purpose of having this mouse. In ... MoreFor a large hand gamer who prefers palm grip, this mouse was def' on the list. Roccat remains my favourite brand for peripherals/accessories. I originally purchased a Horde Aimo keyboard to replace my well used faultless Isku, and my also faultless Kone XTD. They just started looking tired so updated with the Horde Aimo 2.0 and a Corsair Nightsword. For the £75 I was really disappointed with the Nightsword quality and feel. The Kone Aimo Remastered ia cheaper and feels far nicer in terms of quality and ergonomics. The RGB is also far smoother/smarter looking.I like the fact it is heavier than other mice, again making it feel more substantial.I also prefer the Roccat Swarm software UI to Corsairs, another reason to be happy I went back to Roccat.I don't really see what else you could want from a mouse especially at the price point. It use it for PC gaming and for CAD based work professionally. Suits me for long days of constant use.The wire worked out the kinks within a couple of days and isn't at all intrusive, unlike the Nightsword.Highly recommend it. I can't see why I'd spend more money on anything else.
Refurbished but looks brand new. Good fit and comfortable. The only thing I wish could be better was if the mouse could match the keyboard sleep mode -- the keyboard LEDs turn off when not active (but computer is on) but the mouse displays the full colors in a blaze of glory. Maybe it's a "safety" feature for a pitch black room but I'd prefer a simple LED light like for the AIMO keyboard...
Problem in design. This is my second kone mouse. First one lasted a long time, but developed an intermittent fault with the scroll wheel. Scrolls up and down randomly when it should be scrolling down. Known fault - fiddly (dismantle device to fix). Brand new one arrived with this fault. Still a known issue, apparently. I believe it's a hardware design fault, but could be software, I guess - I use Win 10 pro. No other mouse I've got shows the same problem. Supplier very helpful in accepting the return. But Roccat - you need to divert some of your marketing spend toward engineering.
Bought it as an upgrade for my Kone XTD+ "Max Customization Gaming Mouse" which I had going with me since 2013 - I'm not a light user, so if the mouse was able to withstand 6 years by my side, the company deserved a vow of trust and I bought what they, themselves, named as evolution. I'll summarize the aspects I've encountered so far (1 week with the new mouse): Positive: 1 - Sensor: It's an evolution. I mean, of course you just don't use the 12000 DPI, but at 6000 dpi it's more precise and I can really bind my thoughts to the behaviour of the cursor, the last one did too but this time it's somehow more precise when the movement is ending. 2 - Feel: It's the same ergonomy as before, I'd risk saying that for smaller hands a better deal, as it feels a bit more ... MoreBought it as an upgrade for my Kone XTD+ "Max Customization Gaming Mouse" which I had going with me since 2013 - I'm not a light user, so if the mouse was able to withstand 6 years by my side, the company deserved a vow of trust and I bought what they, themselves, named as evolution. Thumb button, which feared I'd pressing unwillingly, is not so soft to press and allows you to rest the finger over it - a wonderful thing to discover. 5 - Changes in Settings / Macros: They're now able to be sent almost instantly to the device!!! This is a true evolution buuuuuuuuuuuuut... Negatives: 1 - Positive #5 also means, that you get to be dependant on the initialization of the driver for the mouse to acquire previous settings (e.g. for RGB Lighting). Previously I guess they wrote the settings into an EEPROM on the Mouse itself, and it did not matter which computer you plugged it in, it kept its settings. Now it doesn't. I couldnt test it further - maybe there's a hidden option to do so, and of course changing settings faster is a plus, but being software dependant is something I personally dislike. 2 - AIMO Lighting: You can't adjust brightness. either you go full flashy, or you select the normal "2.0 ver" of the old lighting schemes and adjust the brightness. 3 - The "EasyShift" thumb button is very difficult to activate together with the side keys - but that depends on your hand.
I've seen this mouse for a long time and always wanted to get it : i will review the " white version " : The mouse is very elegant and streamlined, giving a very beautiful look to the computer. The materials are excellent and do not pick up fingerprints or dirt. RGB lighting is one of the most beautiful I've seen and you can simply control it completely, I have a simple flaw that on the company logo there is no lighting at all and this really bothers me. There are a large number of buttons that you can control and modify as you wish . The program is very simple and beautiful and has all the options that any player will need with some exclusive additions that are not found in any different mouse. There are a large number of buttons that you can control and modify as you wish . The program is very simple and beautiful and has all the options that any player will need with some exclusive additions that are not found in any different mouse. For me, I did not have any technical problems or slow response at all. You can modify and save 5 profiles with appropriate settings for work, games, design, multimedia, and others. The advantage is that you can move between them easily and you will get a reaction when you move, such as sound or vibration and you can customize that too . You can reduce or increase the response speed as you wish, or the speed of mouse movement. For the price of 70 euros, I think this is a very excellent investment. You get everything found in the different gaming and design mice, but with one product + the most beautiful shape and excellent manufacturing materials at not cheap. Once you hold the mouse, you will feel that you are holding something expensive. I still have some flaws that I hope will be improved, such as the mouse getting a rgb light on the logo , we get a wireless version, a slight increase in the weight of the mouse. In general, for the price, if you want to have something elegant and fully control it and combine games, design, work and study, this will be the best choice. There are some who complain about some manufacturing problems. For me, I did not encounter any problem. I hope this helps you :)
This mouse was perfect for me. Flat profile, clicks were great and the buttons were right where I wanted them. But the hardware failed on both mice I had. One was rma'ed and the replacement had the same failure: Scroll Wheel. It randomly jumps up when scrolling down and down when it's scrolling up. Over time, it became frustrating to use for web browsing or gaming. Go to the reddit, you'll see the same issues. Go to the amazon reviews, you'll see them also.If they fix this, I'll be back in a heartbeat.
