I'm not very impressed with these speakers. The factory head unit in my truck can distort the bass at half volume with the bass set half way. The tweeter doesn't produce enough highs to match the bass output. They do provide more bass than I expected but the balance of sound they produce isn't satisfying. I had to install a component tweeter in the door to give it a more balanced sound. I had planned on amping the speakers but that's not looking to be an option. These are a slight factory upgrade in my book. I have been into car audio for 30 years and I'm disappointed in this purchase. I will baffle them and hopefully improve the sound quality.

I installed these in the front doors of my 2002 Silverado. They fit the openings perfectly. I had to drill holes for the screws, since the OE clip-in frame did not fit the new speakers. The factory head unit is more than adequate to drive these speakers. They sound crisp and clean with surprising bass response. The price cant be beat.

Speakers are nice, good quality definitely an improvement over factory. Fairly easy to install and wire if. Comes with everything you need (screws, j-clips,wiring) fairly easy to install if you have half a clue. Took me maybe 2 hours to replace and wire all 4 door speakers. Sounds great!
