I bought a 30 small. These pants are nice and soft, have a little stretch, and fit comfortably. My thighs and seat are on the larger side of medium. The seams in the pant legs are more than neat enough to be able to roll up the cuffs. Overall a nice fit, a fresh-looking knit, and comfy wear.

The Motion2 pants are my new workday to weekend staple. Good looking fabric with a bit of stretch, but not noticeable because the cut of the pant fits so well. Looks good with a collared business shirt on a summers days, and will be great in winter with a jumper and jacket.Have already purchased two extra on this in different colours I like them so much!

I have many Rodd and Gunn Jeans including Motion 2 in other colours and everyone is 34L size and fits perfectly. Unfortunately this pair of in 34L were too small around the waist (I did check the other to check it wasn't me :-) ) so they were returned and I bought a 35L which fitted me as the other 34Ls do. Not sure if R&G have changed supplier as this colour was out of stock for a while but something has changed hence only 4 stars. It may be a rougue pair but this would mean the 35L were rougue as well so don't know what has happened. A shame really as I thought I could rely on R&G sizing consistanly, but I am less sure after this.
Jeans were purchased on-line. However they had a manufacturing fault. I took them back to the Rodd and Gunn Riccarton, Christchurch shop and explained the issue. The service I received from the guys at the shop was truly outstanding. I now have a replacement pair of jeans and I'm very happy with the style and fit.
The pants were for my son.He had a pair which was regular length.The sales lady recommended short length to him which fitted Very well.They were very comfortable.It was a very good shopping experience.
I love these jeans, they are just so comfortable. I discovered them 5 years ago when work provided a uniform and these were my go to for casual Fridays. I changed jobs and they’re now my go to for office wear every day of the week. Smart enough to compliment a good business shirt, a still acceptable for casual Fridays. Great to wear for work travel, meets the standard for airline lounges and remains comfortable on long flights. These jeans were smart enough to wear to a wedding! I’ve got 8 pairs at least, they’re on rotation in the wardrobe. I hold out till the sales each Novemeber and grab a few extra. If I could only have one pair of jeans for the rest of my life it would be the Motion 2 from Rodd & Gunn.
I have previous items with the same style code. This pair are so ill fitting and baggy I will barely wear them. Verging on throwing them in the bin. Might mow the lawns in them but that would be about all.
These trousers are suitable to dress up with a navy linen shirt. The sable colour looks great with a brown belt and shoes. They come in two leg length sizes and are a good quality. They have washed up well too. Yes would recommend Rodd & Gunn.
This brand was a chance discovery on a shopping trip as I am a 33R and this size is hard to find. I also have sensory issues and it’s very hard to find material that doesn’t irritate my skin. I tried on a pair of R&G and knew I’d found a winner. Bought two pairs immediately and haven’t looked back 😊
