I seriously can't imagine not having this on my Rode Micro boompole. This little piece makes it so much easier to get the proper angle for the mic.

I seriously can't imagine not having this on my Rode Micro boompole. This little piece makes it so much easier to get the proper angle for the mic.
This adapter does the job, but it is a little loose and hard to get it to stay in place at specific angles. Currently, it's being used to hold a Podcaster Pro II, which has some weight to it. This adapter was recommended for this scenario, which is why it's getting 4 instead of 5 stars. It is a good adapter but I wish it was less wobbly in this application.
Perhaps not essential to setting up a Stereo Mic. Bar, but it certainly makes it a lot easier to get the positioning just right, when recording acoustic instruments.Very solid and well manufactured, I think it will be useful for a range of microphone mount applications. Typical Rode quality.
This item works best even paired with a mic mount without a built in pivot such as the Rode Stereo Bar. It feels quality and sturdy, but a metal construction could have made it better for the price.

Simple but effective! Typically high quality from Rode, and the 2 locking collars mean it should work with pretty much anything. Particularly if you record with a stereo array of some sort this is a must have to get optimum positioning for your mics.
This adapter is pricey but heavy duty and well constructed. Serves its purpose well.
I use this pivot head for adjusting the angle of my Rode stereo bar. It works perfectly and is sturdy. Highly recommend.
