Does the job very well .. Important when using expensive mics to ensure they stay put!

2 -Rode M5 mic clips

I'm using these on the Rode M5 Compact 1/2 Condenser Microphone (Matched Pair), which come with a pair, that I use for drum overheads. I wanted another setup for a field recording. I tried 2 others brands that were small or universal, but nothing had a snug fit, so I went ahead and got the real deal. These fit great!

Better than those more expensive shock mounts

I've owned different shock mounts over the years and for some reason, this simple little thing just works the best.

It snuggles the microphone, assuring safeness during use. The handle and button feature are useful and help to aim the microphones accurately. What's not to like?

The RM5 does just what it says, holds the mic nice and tight and performs perfectly. If you need a good stand mount, this is it. I prefer it to the shock mount.

love my Rode mic and now that it is my goto field b-mic, i have to get multiple mounts for it, and since it is soooo thin, i needed this mount and although $ , it is worth it's weight in convenience.
