I tried a couple of other pouches that said they would fit the NTG-2 Mic. No Go.Should have bought this one on the 1st try.
It's basically a pencil holder that you might have had in grammar school with a logo at 4X the price. Go to ..., if you are looking for a pencil holder. I expected a pouch that was designed to protect my investment in my sound mike.
As expected quality (good) and slightly larger than a regular (SM58) pouch...obviously because it is for a larger mic. The height is actually longer as well so you can fit a foam windscreen as well.
No frills. Easy. Great zipper. Very functional.
well-made microphone bag, and no quality issues whatsoever, but this bag is just a little too small to fit the RØDE VideoMic Pro+ ... purchased this after reading a few other reviews that it would fit snugly, but it seems that if you were to ever get the zipper zipped up, it would place too much strain on the shock mount.
I assumed the extra-large pouch would easily accommodate my VideoMic Pro, but honestly, I have to squeeze the boom microphone into the pouch before I can zipper the pouch. Otherwise, the quality and zipper components are of perfect quality for the use.
