This is my first time with something like this. My advice if you are going to use this product is patience, have glue nearby, and be prepared to make adjustments once you get to the end. Took me 3 days off and on but I can say it works just fine after some adjustments. I recommend brush glue which I used several times with my big hands. You are using some flimsy pieces which is a drawback but they do all go together.

Good morning I appreciate your concern of not hearing from me. Unfortunately since I received the package I have been in hospital and had a cancer removed from my face which took 10 hours to remove. Since then I have had several trips into hospital for check ups. As of April I will go through a month of radiation treatment . So I am very sorry to tell you all this but I thought it would explain why I have not touched. I haven't quite finished the Marble Night City Marble Run yet. I estimate I'm about 2/3 complete. This will be the fifth ROKR kit that I have assembled and it is going just as smoothly as the previous ones. These would make great father/son projects. I like them because I can work on them for an hour or so and then put them away until I find time to work on them again. The accuracy of the parts is remarkable. I am a retired engineer for a tool and die shop and can appreciate the tolerances that are involved that will provide a proper fit. I can certainly recommend the kit(s).

I am very pleased with my marble run, and very impressed with the quality, especially the design. As the parts are laser cut they obviously have a sharp top and bottom edge. I think it would be a good idea to advise buyers to chamfer the sharp edges when trying to insert them into their corresponding aperture. Not a complaint, just trying to help. All in all I am very pleased and cannot wait until I get another one.Thank you.

Last year we went for a wooden Merry Go Round kit so this year we went for this marvellous wooden Marble run kit. Like all such kits you have to take your time with assembly as its mostly made of wood and if you try and force things you may break something. That said any breakages would be easily glued back together with superglue - although we did not need to. I may try to modify it by adding a small motor to replace the hand cranking although an easier option may be add some colourful LED lighting.

An exercise in frustration

If you enjoy many hours of frustration trying to follow woefully inadequate and outright misleading assembly instructions (the included scan videos are all but useless) then by all means purchase this item. Pieces do not fit precisely, are way too flimsy and break easily; you will need super glue repeatedly. End result is disappointing; does not operate smoothly and marbles fall off track.

Don’t Believe the video

I carefully and meticulously assembled it, but it doesn’t work very well at all. I’m a 70 year old engineer, fully employed, with good health, excellent manual dexterity.You should disclose that assembly time is 6 - 8 hours. You should disclose that the design tolerances are incredibly tight (maybe impossible, since it doesn’t work)

Great Model

Had seen these ROKR models in various places and decided to try building one. Not disappointed. A fair challenge to build and a fun item when finished. Aspens was definately the best value on the web with a fast delivery as well. Very pleased throughout

My Son enjoyed putting it together and the end result mostly...

There were a few pieces he snapped in half trying to put them in place, but it still worked out. There were some spare pieces too that were available for some that were more fragile - so that was pretty cool.He was very interested in building it and it worked great once he got it together. The only thing that would change my review from good to great is if the pieces were a little more sturdy. He's not an impatient type, so it must have been difficult to fit them in properly when they snapped.Overall, 4 out of 5 stars - very happy with the challenge of building it and then the final results watching the marbles randomly take different directions in the run was fun!

Night City Marble

The recipient has not begun putting it together yet. I can report on your personnel… originally I received the wrong item (telescopes) even though the invoice had all the correct information reflecting the Night City Marble item. I called Signal and spoke to Heidi. She was wonderful! Everything corrected and I received the correct item within days. Thank you Heidi
