It has a fair number of HDMI inputs, the eARC works well to help deliver good sound. Speaking of sound this set has excellent speakers for such a thin (it is heavy) 65" television. A very good selection of apps and a very responsive interface. The Bad: I have had multiple issues where the picture will go completely black yet there will be sound still. You will experience difficulties if you have to use a Fire Stick or some other exterior source but it does work well with gaming systems.Overall, this is a very solid television for their forst foray into the market, it offers flexibility, features and a very strong price in this market and proves that you don't have to have a big budget to get a great deal.

Our two wishes for a TV were a great picture and also one that works with our Google home ecosystem. This TV is the only one that met both requirements.First, the picture is amazing. Out of the box, the settings were not so great and it looked washed out, but when we adjusted the picture (which is so easy on the Roku platform), we were able to get a pretty stunning display. We selected the Vivid mode and turned the backlight down to about 70 with the contrast and sharpness all the way up. There are a lot of settings, so you can adjust it to your liking. Every TV is probably calibrated a little differently, so you may have to experiment a bit, but this TV can produce a pretty amazing picture!Second, this Roku TV works perfectly with Google Home/Assistant and voice commands. We tried a Hisense with the Google platform, a Samsung, and an LG, and NONE of these platforms worked at all with Google Home voice commands. Even basic commands such as selecting a channel to watch did not work on any of the platforms we tried except for Roku. With the Roku platform, we can tell Google to play a specific channel on the TV, we can tell Google to play a certain show on Hulu or Netflix, we can adjust the volume, channel up or down, pause, etc. We can also turn the TV on and off with voice commands. This was the deal breaker on every other TV we tried. We wanted our new TV to work hands-free using voice commands (without using a physical remote). This was the only TV we found that actually works with Google assistant (ironically, the TV with the Google platform was the worst one at performing Google assistant voice commands; the LG and Samsung platforms were not good either). We are so happy with our Roku TV. When we are working around the house, it is nice to be able to just tell Google to turn on the TV and play a certain show or channel. Also, when we are using the remote, the Roku platform is so simple and easy to navigate. There are not as many options on the Roku as some of the other platforms, but in my opinion, this makes it so much more user friendly. It is very easy to find what you're looking for without pressing a bunch of buttons and scrolling all over the place, like some of the other platforms. This Roku TV has a great picture, great sound, great integration with Google, and is so easy to use. We love it.

Beautiful Picture!

This 65" ROKU has local dimming that is available on more expensive TVs. All movies I watched again except for 1 (Edge of Tomorrow), were brighter in the shadows and easier to see than on my 14 year old $2300 Sony Bravia. Setting up sound at first was a problem. The cable box connection didn't come through well and wouldn't work with my Samsung sound bar. I was cutting the cord anyhow, so when I turned the box off, everything sounded great especially with an added Samsung 3.1 sound bar. I still need to use the optical input, so I need both remotes. Only a HDMI sound connection lets the TV operate both sound sources at once. The TV itself is loud enough when sitting in the living room, but getting much further away in the kitchen and the exciting moments in movies ... MoreThis 65" ROKU has local dimming that is available on more expensive TVs. I'm pleased with my purchase. Price was great. Picture is crisp. Going back in time? I'd buy the 75". Cord cutting paid for this TV in 4 months! So far, I'm not buying any premium services like I used to. I watch a lot of news, podcasts, and get free movies on a couple free apps. I'll probably purchase a couple premiums in the coming year, but there's no hurry.

Purchased this tv to replace a 55” TCL series 5 mini qled that I purchased in 2020. Let me start by saying I loved that tv and was super happy with it. I actually mounted it at another house we own. I just wanted a larger tv that had a Roku operating system. I was going to buy the Roku pro series, but didn’t want to part with twice the money of this one. I should have gone with something else. It’s big and it’s got Roku, but that’s where the comparison ends. The sound is tinny so I will have to purchase something that will improve it. There is nothing special about the picture on it either. If it wasn’t so large and mounted on the wall I would return it, but it’s extremely heavy so I am stuck with it I guess. To rub additional salt in the wound, they lowered the price $100 2 days after I bought it. Truthfully though it’s not even worth that price. If Roku is the only one going to manufacture tv’s with Roku, they better pick up the pace and lower their prices.

I have owned this Roku TV for a month and it is definitely one of the better purchases I've ever made! The ease of navigating the operating system is incomparable - which I already appreciated since I was using the Roku 4K Stick device on my older TV. Having the Roku built-in is so wonderful! I'm currently using the Roku 65 inch as the primary TV in my media room after relegating my older 55 inch LG OLED with Roku Stick to the bedroom. There were severe burn-in issues with the LG but now I have peace of mind knowing that should not occur with a Roku set. All of my favorite networks broadcast with static logos and so I took that viewing preference into consideration while shopping for a new TV. It was extremely easy to connect with the many different streaming services I subscribe to so all I needed to do was arrange the home page tiles in preferred order. So quick and simple! I honestly have only one (very minor) complaint regarding the remote. I wish the new TV remote did 'not' feature those 2 additional buttons for designated apps because I often hit them by mistake since I always watch TV at night in a completely darkened room. A small matter when taken into account with the wide range of bonuses enjoyed by owning this great Roku Plus TV! Highly recommend!!

Overall great value in picture AND sound!

I haven’t had many larger TV’s, so maybe I don’t have enough comparison, but this tv is well feature packed. It has the best sound of any flat panel tv I’ve experienced, much better than I even expected. Plenty of HDMI ports, lightweight, well packaged, very minimal “frame” surrounding the screen, the picture seems quite clear(best of the last three large tvs I’ve had and presently have), and best of all, the integrated Roku functions are well laid out and customizable. Only thing I can’t comment on is longevity, which unfortunately is the most important factor for me. My last Sony Bravia lasted 6 years and might only need some internal cable cleaning, but 6 years isn’t super impressive to me, but apparently it’s a decent run. My last Sony Bravia lasted 6 years and might only need some internal cable cleaning, but 6 years isn’t super impressive to me, but apparently it’s a decent run. So I guess time will tell. The only thing I don’t love is the remote. This isn’t shortcoming of the tv, but more of Roku in general. I don’t exactly know how it could be better, but I can say I don’t appreciate having a random selection of app shortcut buttons. It seems every Roku remote I have offers four different shortcuts, and they aren’t the same options on each remote. I don’t subscribe to most of them, so those buttons never get used. At least this particular remote has two that I can program. I also wish there was a “live tv” button, so while using the rewind button on a live tv show through our internet tv provider (in this case YouTubeTV) I’d like to hit one button that brings me to the most current part of the program I’m watching. Anyone with a cable based DVR would know the button I’m missing. As for the rest of the remote, being rechargeable is a great touch. And I’m sure the voice control would be valuable to anyone that likes barking orders at the TV(not my thing, yet).I gave 5 stars simply because I already knew about the remote and choose to remain a Roku user, which leaves all 5 stars for the quality of the TV.

This is by far the best budget TV. I was fully expecting this to be some cheap offbrand TV that Roku just slapped their name on, but luckily that couldn’t be farther from the truth. In fact, I was so sure of it that I originally bought the high sense U6K mini-led. After spending a couple days with it, it just didn’t impress me and something kept calling me back to the Roku. So I exchanged it and boy was that the right decision. It’s usually the first setting I turn off, but I’m keeping it on!- Overall the quality is phenomenal, the colors are as vibrant as they can be while still being dead accurate and not oversaturated. The backlighting is really even with no bleeding or clouding anywhere. Dark blacks and pure whites!- The sound quality is what will make this really stand out when you compare it to anything else in its price range. I bought this for my bedroom where I wanted something that I could just plug into the wall and use without any additional equipment. Just OK would’ve been good enough, but this is genuinely the best sounding TV I’ve ever heard. Would a sound bar be better? Of course. But I would argue that there are plenty of cheap sound bars that would actually sound worse, that’s how good the speakers are! The Hisense U6K is rated to have some of the best speakers, and this TV blew it out of the water.Consider me a lifetime Roku fan!

Roku gets it done!

Exactly what I was hoping it would be. I am a "late adopter" so, this replaced a 42" Sony Bravia that still worked great. I've grown to really enjoy the Roku interface for all the various streaming apps I use, so did a lot of research on this TV made by Roku. We are using it in a finished basement so it is a fairly dark space with no issues of window glare. Picture is excellent and controls are simple to use to adjust for various types of watching. If you are familiar with the Roku interface, you'll appreciate the simplicity of having it built right in to the TV. I use it with a Sony speaker similar to a soundbar and it synced up to it easily (so I can't comment on the TV speakers alone). I also mounted it to the Insignia leg kit (linked below) so it would sit on my ... MoreExactly what I was hoping it would be. After several weeks of use, I'm very happy with this purchase. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/insignia-universal-tv-feet-replacement-kit-for-tvs-49-77-or-100-lbs-black/6495577.p?skuId=6495577&ref=E30C20R002&loc=BODY&CampaignID=1381177&ref=E30C20R002&loc=BODY&CampaignID=1381177
