Great small pedal, easy to carry. But can flip when using it on a very smooth surface, not much of a grip on the ground.

I use this to switch between live sets on a Roland RD300NX keyboard and it does the job. It's pretty small and, though made from plastic, solid enough. Its action is solid enough to allow you to lightly rest your foot on it without accidentally switching which is helpful.

The DP-3 Foot Pedal is a good quality product used on many of the Roland keyboards available. The only down fall is that it has no rubber feet to keep it from sliding when using it on a smooth surface and also tends to flip over on its side with just a slight bump with your foot. If supported with velcro on a rug then its perfect especially if used as a start/stop controller. All in all it still deserves a high rating for it's compact size and very easy to fit in a small tight area during transport.
Just replaced my mixer amp needed different foot switch no info to what pedal need to suit. So tried a friends Roland pedal worked a treat. So was lucky to purchase DP - 2 pedal from Kenny's music easy to order and deal with. Very quick delivery. Tried pedal which was in mint condition works and does the job brilliantly .first class service
It’s a cheap, retro style pedal. I bought for hands free operation of a drum machine, start / stop . It’s perfect for that and well made for the price. Nice long cable. I would want something nicer for a piano sustain though
They work as they should; each press of the pedal provides the desired effect. They are well-designed in that they don't slip around. Compact unit fits well in a case or bag -- the cable is a little long; I wad up the extra on the floor in front of the amp.I use them with a vintage Roland CR-1000 Digital Drummer in a trio. The pedals work well , don't have to stomp twice. Nice rubber lnon-slip bottom so they stay in place on hard floors. They've been dropped a few times with no problem, although I reccommend taking care of them - they are plastic. They seem to be durable, I pack them loose in a casae with the drum machin, A/C adaptor and patch cable.I wish they wer a few bucks cheaper, but the work so.................
The Roland DP-2 momentary footswitch is a great pedal for Roland keyboards. I have also utilized this pedal as a 'Tap-tempo' switch for BOSS delay pedals. The pedal is made of plastic and might be to lightweight for Heavy-Footed or Heavy-Booted individuals. I find that a light touch is sufficient enough to activate the pedal for either keyboard sustain or delay tap tempo. These pedals crop up, used in good condition from time to time, so if a potential buyer can be patient a Roland DP-2 can be had for way less than the new DP-2 retail price, which makes these pedals much more of a bargain.
This is the standard Roland hold pedal they've made for over 30 years. For some reason, the Roland logo is not printed in the plastic on top of the pedal anymore. I was a little surprised about that, but I notice it's lacking the logo in the picture, too. It came in a Roland box, so I assume it's legit? Anyway, it works and looks just like my old Roland pedals from the 80's. The Roland pedal is made for Roland gear. There is no switch to change the polarity for other keyboard brands. It's got some amount of rubber on the bottom to prevent slipping, but it may not always be sufficient. The pedal has a fairly high profile, vs. the Proline pedal, but that just takes a bit to get used to. On that note, I prefer the Roland to the Proline. Proline was squeaky, the rubber pad kept coming off, and eventually was sticking in the hold position after less than a year of pretty frequent use. But I always keep a back up pedal with me.
I am using this pedal on my dexibell vivo s1 for a switch. I learned that yamaha pedals will not work for the switch or the expression pedal they only worked for the sustain. I don't know why they put such a long cord on it. That is my only con.
