I never thought that the original Tabac Eau De Toilette be as cheap. I would have been happier with a good imitation of the original, but this one disappoints greatly. The scent is so weak and doesnt last beyond a minute and I am not kidding. People in the room would hardly notice that I had any thing on at all. I wouldn't get even for free. I wanted this to be a reminiscent of the past, but I think that the past has long gone with its aroma.

A true classic!

A true classic scent to use in your shower or bath. Foams nicely and cleans very well while leaving a trace of Tobac on your body. Great for layering scent.

Absolutely amazing stuff!

I'd always heard about this amazing aftershave, and always wanted to try it. Lo and behold, it was available through FragranceX.com, where I buy all of my fragrances! Man, am I glad I tried this one... so complex and multi-faceted, with just the right amount of post-shave burn. As a bonus, my wife loves the scent (and this is the only one of my aftershaves she likes). Serious about your shave? You have to try Tabac.

Have used this cologne for 30+ years!

I put this cologne on when I get dressed in the morning and after a shower! I love its gentle but masculine scent. I often receive compliments from women about my scent.

I like using this fragrance in warm weather temperatures. It has a nice clean and fresh scent.

Read the review for some time before purchasing this product. Tabac is everything they say it is. Not much projection, but I read once that you should not smell a cologne on a man unless you where close enough to... I agree completely. Hate to smell someone a mile away. too much! Really love the smell and the value, can not be beat. Give it a try you will not be disappointed!

Unique!

This product from Germany is unique in several ways. The scent is something I've never smelled before, and is truly unique. Likewise, the large 10 ounce bottles, reminiscent of the old barber shop days, are an excellent value. The shaving soap in a bowl is excellent, possibly the best I have used. Tabac is a scent formulated over 50 years ago, which attests to its popularity, probably especially in Germany. This is one of my favorite, and am glad the Fragrance X website has stocked it!

Very effective deodorant - no aluminum salts

This deodorant is very effective and has a masculine scent so it is not unisex. It does not contain aluminum salts. Tabac has a full line of men's products to go with this, the fragrances are not overwhelming after about a half hour and are suitable for the office or for being around folks who are sensitive to smells.

i, as a woman, would rate this scent A++++

i started using tabac in my college years, late 60's, early 70's. i thought it was a mens' scent, but i loved wearing it. it was my signature scent. i married in 1986- my husband worked for a packaging firm that worked with all 4711, nivea, tabac products, all of which i loved, especially if they came from germany.i love the scent, it's wonderful for both men and women.
