Not sturdy, very cheap materials, not worth the money.I only give 1 star For the color because my 3 years old grandson he want a green excavator.
We had originally ordered the digger attachment to go on a J Deere tractor, but a few days before Christmas were advised by Ride on Toys that this had been returned to them by the courier as it was damaged in transit. Unfortunately they had no more of this item in stock. However we spotted the ride on excavator and were able to order it next day delivery, so it arrived in time for Christmas. A great success with our 4 year old grandson!
Bought as a Christmas present for my nephew, its a Great little thing! Easy enough to assemble and arrived really quick! He really loved it!

Our 3-yr. old grandson loves this ride-on & the added articulated scoop really sets the excavator apart from others. It appears durable & will keep him entertained. However, it took an hour for two adults to assemble & somehow we still got the ends of the axles wrong, preventing attachment of the hub caps. There were no written instructions, only smallish pictures, with highlighted parts in red, vs. the actual color of each part. That's the sole reason we're awarding 4 stars. Otherwise, it's a nice toy.
