This cage may be good for rats but terrible for hamsters as it has so many levels and is not big enough, if this cage is your only option then I advise that you add long toys and hammocks to the top of the cage so your hamster will break her/his fall, bad cage.

Initially I was delighted with the cage, it was relatively straightforward to construct and is bigger than the cage we had. However every morning the ladder from the house has fallen down and the hamster is trapped in the house.

We brought this for our hamster and she loves it, she climbs all the ladders and there is so much room. The only down thing is the water bottle is right where the ladder to the house is and make sure the lid on the house is shut as when the hamster grows it can open the lid.

Very good cage especially for Syrian hamsters
Lovely cage. Good value for money. Excellent customer service.Only con is that the bed is quite difficult to remove to clean. Also wheel is too noisy. So we have removed it and replaced with a ufo one (quiet -lovely). Other than that it's a good cage. Many thanks.
