I used the welder as soon as I could. I had to buy a roll of gasless wire as none was included in the purchase. This was apparent on the web site but I didn't notice. The welder did the job I needed it for and I am happy with its performance.

I was disappointed in 2 things, !/ I have used mig welders before and they only arked when the trigger is pressed, this one you have to be extremely careful you don,t get flashback because it is live feed to the tip, I don,t like that ,2/ after I got the welder I used it intermittently for about 15 mins and noticed scorch marks on both the earth and torch leads, I reported both and sent a video as well,I was told that the welder is a live feed, and the scorch marks are due to the foam and to wash them, which I have done ,but at this stage have not used the welder to see if there is any difference, if more scorch marks appear after the next use I will be sending it back for a refund.

This welder is easy to use, I haven't welded in 25 years but with 15 mins setup and 10 mins for a few power / speed adjustments I was away. I chose some 9mm gasless wire. Swapping the polarity of the welder between gas / gasless is a bit of a pain and requires some electrical DIY work.(comes from the factory setup for gas) Also the included visor/helmet is a bit of a joke, but I bought a cheap auto darkening helmet from the same company and it works a treat.
Have not used yet but it's a nice mig welding machine. Nice design and good quality. Very handy & should be easy welding.

Very well made, Is there a FULL WAVE BRIDGE RECTIFIER built into this device , as it "states above" in DESCRIPTION ..... MIG welding does require DC with EN......GASLESS is best with DC with EP......with AC it's like BIRDSHIT, with a lot of SPATTER . Will be using this machine in 2 weeks , when I fix the Rust in one door on my 66 Mustang Coupe . Will get in touch with you when , I finish the job. Regards Anske VK4CAB (ADV LIC)
Not overly happy with the product, yeah it works but the power to the tip doesn't cut off when you release the trigger, it's like the trigger only control's the wire. Making it very hard to teach my son how to weld, as soon as you touch the hand peace on the steel it burns the wire back into the tip
Good welder for a home user. Needs to change polarity inside the unit if using gasless wire. Also welding screen supplied is useless.Done the job required.
only used it a little as yet. very easy to use. edisons very helpful
