I ordered these shorts to wear in the workshop, and so far they've held up really well. The only reason they are getting 4 stars instead of 5 is the fact they are really heavy. I mean REALLY heavy, in weight, feel, and fabric. Obviously I got shorts to wear when the shop is hot - but these ones tend to be hot, as shorts go. Other than that, they are rugged and comfortable. If they pop up again in a future drop, I'll probably order a second pair.

I liked them so much I bought a 2nd pair.Ultra soft fabric with good color that held up after the first wash; no shrinkage.The cut is nice and loose and baggy.The fit was amazing; I'm a 36 waist and it fit perfect. It has drawstrings in addition to normal belt loops so you can use them or tie them or cut them off.

Considering back in my days (60's) the only way to have shorts was to get them cut from a pair of pants. One basic color too "OD". The fit is excellent and they are heavy duty. I also love the buttons and NO VELCRO on the pockets. Never wanted to be seen, much less heard opening a pocket. I'm sure that they will beco.e more "flexable" after a few more washes. EXCELLENT PRODUCT.
My wife ordered these shorts for me for Christmas. I have 2 other pair of Rothco shorts in the size I asked her to order. The digital camo shorts seem to be VERY wide in the legs, particularly from a side view.
I had purchased a similar pair in another colour and size. After a helpful chat with customer service, I decided to go down a size and selected another colour. Excellent delivery time, fit as we'd hoped-I can grow into these-but there is one problem; In some places on the waist band, the stitching has knotted up making it painful when you lean on it. A brief inspection found two other places that had this same problem.
I just happeded to have servered as a Paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne. These are not even close to the quality of any clothing issued to the U.S. Armed forces. It is cheaply made, the regular pockets are small, size did not run large, but small. Not worth even at half the price so I returned the knock offs.
Almost great shorts! Roomy, well-made, durable heavy duty material. HOWEVER, zipper is poor quality: not smooth, chintzy. Should be replaced with a larger, better quality zipper!
Awful purchase. These "Paratrooper" shorts leave much to be desired. They run waaaay big. The material is very thin and not tightly knit. They are just for looks and not truly, in any real way, functional. And there's the rub! You can't work or realistically hike/backpack in them because they just won't be able to take the beating ... and yet they are too casual to wear out to dinner.So, for $35.38, there are much better products out there. I would NOT recommend!
I bought these to wear while I'm working on a farm. But I think I'll keep them for lounging around. They're very comfortable & fit well. Even if they're a little big, the drawstring can be pulled tight. The only reason for 4 stars is the pockets. If they're not buttoned, which can be a pain if using these for work mode & you need to access them a lot, then things may fall out of them. They seem deep but because of the width of the pockets, they get floppy . I'm happy with purchase though.
