I ordered these shorts to wear in the workshop, and so far they've held up really well. The only reason they are getting 4 stars instead of 5 is the fact they are really heavy. I mean REALLY heavy, in weight, feel, and fabric. Obviously I got shorts to wear when the shop is hot - but these ones tend to be hot, as shorts go. Other than that, they are rugged and comfortable. If they pop up again in a future drop, I'll probably order a second pair.
I‘d worn out all of my old surplus and missed the practicality in the field. surplus stores of old have gotten overpriced or are difficult to find, but I don’t mind paying premium prices for new products. Even better when I can make a “drop”. Price discount and quality new product!
Too big. And a different color. The picture shows a brownish camo. The shorts are more hunter green camo. Completely different.
The shorts in the picture appear worn and of the ERDL camo pattern, what I received was none of that. The shorts were super large, hung well below the knee. I wear a 34 and these were listed as 31-35 (medium), they looked like I was a kid wearing my dad's clothes. They wear not worn / weathered and the camo was a generic 1980's-90's woodland camo, much darker than the picture. There was nothing about these shorts I liked.
Run really large. Will return but not repurchase.
These are high quality, and very durable. But they DO run very big, as other reviews have already mentioned. I didnt listen, and ordered XL (I wear a 40" waist), and they are simply too big to wear (and I wear my shorts and pants loose fitting). I am reordering in the Large size, which scares me because I cant remember the last time I ordered pants/shorts in a large size, lol).
I am most disappointment for the shorts go halfway down from four inches lower than my knees. I wish I had not ordered them
