I'm a 34 with room to spare, I ordered a Medium which covers that range and they were tight, so I ordered a Large and they were huge on me. Maybe I got a bad cut but I wasn't successful in finding a pair that fits. I'm leaving the review because I couldn't find much on sizing. Too bad they are nice shorts.

I'd recommend them to anyone. Plenty of storage space and feel good.Only problem is when I asked for two different colors they sent the same color as the first pair of shorts.
Xl fits size 39-46, large fits size 36-39, FYI. Love these shorts
I like the shorts. They're comfortable and are sized correctly. My problem is, they are not like the photo in that they are about 6 inches longer than the photo shows which makes them fall about mid calve, which I don't like.
I bought these to wear while I'm working on a farm. But I think I'll keep them for lounging around. They're very comfortable & fit well. Even if they're a little big, the drawstring can be pulled tight. The only reason for 4 stars is the pockets. If they're not buttoned, which can be a pain if using these for work mode & you need to access them a lot, then things may fall out of them. They seem deep but because of the width of the pockets, they get floppy . I'm happy with purchase though.
