The Rotor VEGAST crankset for road bikes was developed alongside the Rotor ALDHU and shares its innovative and modular design. While the ALDHU is extremely focused on minimizing weight, the VEGAST excels with an excellent price-performance ratio and offers all the features of its counterpart. Assembly can be completed in minutes without specialized knowledge or tools, and changing the chainrings is just as easy. Thanks to the Direct Mount system, where the rings are mounted directly on the axle without a spider, a standard hex key is all that is needed as a tool. The revolutionary combo chainring in a one-piece design (a chainring combination machined from a single block) and single chainrings are available. Both options come in round designs or with Rotor's oval Q Rings featuring 12.5% ovality. Alternatively, a Direct Mount spider can also be used, allowing for the traditional mounting of two chainrings with chainring bolts, further expanding the options. The Direct Mount system of the Rotor VEGAST enables fine adjustment of oval chainrings (OCP) in one-degree increments, allowing for unparalleled customization to meet personal requirements. This provides the rider with the best possible approach to their optimal individual pedaling efficiency. The crank arms of the VEGAST, made from the particularly stiff 7055 aluminum alloy, are processed with ROTOR's patented Trinity Drilling System, offering an ideal balance of stiffness to weight. The Rotor VEGAST is perfect for road cyclists seeking a high-quality and lightweight crankset without complications, requiring minimal maintenance and assembly effort, and providing the potential for improved pedaling efficiency. The VEGAST is, of course, compatible with other road bike groups from Shimano, SRAM, or Campagnolo, and offers future-proof technology thanks to Direct Mount.

I purchased the 165mm arms for use with my TT bike. What attracted me to the Rotor chainset was its modularity and the possibility to add the powermeter spider, or move to a 30mm axle, at a later date. Possibly the best non-groupset option you can buy for your bike.

As expected top quality from rotor.
Purchased as part of the Rotor system as an alternative to Ultegra on a new build. The Rotor system looks well on the bike, runs very smooth and is a little lighter than Ultegra, which as you all know is important, HaHa !
It made my CX bike very cool.
A crank that is not too stiff. I searched for a different size because there was little damage to my legs. Arrived on the other side of the earth without any damage. Thank you for the staff.
