The spray head nozzle only has two settings, STOP and SPRAY they have taken the STREAM setting off which means you have to get closer to the weeds to apply which is not very easy if you have back problems. The instructions on container still tell you how to set nozzle to STREAM setting, they must be using old labels up so good look with that one.

Kills just about everything, except brambles. Starts Killing "softer weeds in a few hours. The stronger ones after a few days. Apparently there is a minimum amount of words I have to use for the review to be posted. Still saying I haven't reached the lower limit. Blah, blah, blah, yadda, yadda, yadda. Roundup is better than other comparable weedkillers. Blah, blah, blah.

Was advised to buy this because it is super effective in controlling unwanted Ivy, difficult to kill established Ivy but I needed something to knock back a huge over grown area and now use it to keep it under control. Very effective on pavement joins, fence edges and gravel weeds too,. Spray is easy and efficient for a couple of refills but starts to fail after that. But one bottle a year is enough for the average garden, can't use it where animals are or plants you want to grow but definitely a useful addition

With Roundup I find that the first application makes the weeds shrug and shout "Is that the best you can do!" - so you have to give them a second blast (and definitely when it's not going to rain for a while). The second application usually gets most of the weeds but not the very tough deep rooted ones like thistles and dandelions - they take more. So, in my view, Roundup is not the best weedkiller on the market but it's not the most expensive and (importantly) it hasn't harmed my dog.
Not being in the first flush of youth, plus having a dodgy shoulder, I found it difficult to set up, and then I read the instructions! If only I had done so at the beginning, it would have helped and saved me a lot of angst, as they were straightforward to follow. After that it was brilliant to use, with two different settings. especially for trying to spray weeds on a fence at a distance. Easy to carry around, especially over a large area which I needed to cover. By far the best method of using weedkiller and would recommend this product.
I have been very diligent of late and chemical free, weeding the drive by hand, but ther is one path, where there are small gaps between slabs set in resin and the weeds are almost impossible to pull out or even top by hand. I couldn't stand the look and reverted to Roundup. I'm so glad I did - and don't have to apologise for the weed strewn path.
I bought this about a month ago. I used it on Monday on my weeds. On Tuesday there was no change. Used it again on Tuesday and still no change. Wednesday the weed was still there. Used it again on Wednesday. Today Thursday after the rain no idea probably washed off. The problem I think is the chemical that has been removed due to regulations being implemented across Europe. Consequently the weed killer is completely inefficient. I would not buy it again.
I bought this about 3 weeks ago and only now I am starting to see the results of this herbicide. It takes at least 2 weeks to see any real results but I know it's working because I sprayed it on a whole orchard of mini sycamore saplings growing between the boards on a small section of decking and they are now withered away. The nettles I doused seem a little more hardy and haven't yet fully succumbed but their leaves are getting a bit black and crinkly at the edges and they don't seem to have grown any bigger than they were. Some of the usual lawn weeds I spot-sprayed have browned and died as has the bit-patches of grass I accidentally caught.I had a bit of RTFM-trouble trying to attached the curly hose to the spout: well, actually I was trying to find a way to ...Β MoreI bought this about 3 weeks ago and only now I am starting to see the results of this herbicide. Some of the usual lawn weeds I spot-sprayed have browned and died as has the bit-patches of grass I accidentally caught.I had a bit of RTFM-trouble trying to attached the curly hose to the spout: well, actually I was trying to find a way to remove the screw-top for ages to insert the curly hose into the carton itself! But actually, if you read the diagrams more carefully than I did, you just had to push the bottom of the hose into the screw-top itself. I feel the instructions could have made this a bit more clear and would have saved me spilling some of it on myself! So in conclusion, this is nowhere near as 'instant' as some of the other weed-killer offerings. You need patience and a window of at least 6 hours in order to let the stuff dry on the 'to-be-exterminated' plant/weed leaves, but so far it does yield results and appears to get to the very root of the victim.
I have not used a strong weed killer before I usually get the ones from the Poundshop. This stuff, so far, has proved disappointing. I have sprayed some things several times, and even with the frost, they have not died. Perhaps it takes longer than four weeks. I shall be patient and see. The questions above are a bit weird. How would I know if the weedkiller is of good quality and value. I am not a scientist.
bought this and only just used itif it is the same stuff as usual then everything will be greati know new chemicals are changing for domestic use but do not think this will effect round uplike the bulk idea 3land the system means no mixing or touching the stuffeasy applicationso all good so far and no problems envisaged
