I wanted grain free chicken minced cat food. I was horrified to read the ingredients from a manufacturer I thought was trustworthy. The first ingredient is pork byproducts along with a variety of other byproducts. Who knows what these byproducts are. I do not pay good money for junk food!

My two cats, who are five weeks apart in age, are drastically different in just about every way imaginable except for their love of Royal Canin food. One is vocal, outgoing, and constantly moving, and the other is quiet, cautious, takes his time, and just doesn't think being rambunctious is appropriate. Both were weaned on Royal Canin, and both have done extremely well on the kitten versions of both wet and dry food, but I didn't know how the transition to adult food would go. I began the transition by providing two half-portions the first night. One embraced it immediately and finished it completely in short order; the other sniffed it with suspicion and walked away, not even willing to try it. Sensing an opportunity, of course, the first ate the second's portion ... MoreMy two cats, who are five weeks apart in age, are drastically different in just about every way imaginable except for their love of Royal Canin food. By the next morning, the second had had a change of heart and the two ate their new food in tandem. It's been that way twice a day ever since. I mention this only as an example of different cats having different approaches to everything, including their food. It may take some a little longer to make a change, but in this case, both came around and continue to thrive, happy and healthy. I continue to recommend the Royal Canin brand.

The price I paid so the cheapest ever by $10 a box it was very impressive. The promptness of delivery was also impressive. I have a rescue cat and she was on this food tried other brands and they gave her sloppy poos. This food is really good quality and low odour, no more sloppy poos. She loves this food as well. I recommend it highly as people comment on how healthy she looks as well as content.

I thought i would try this out because originally she consumed the royal canin adult chicken loaf (pink packaging)This just completely put her off. Im not sure what they put in this but she starts dry heaving whenever she approaches her bowl with this food. It doesn’t even tell you either. So pretty disappointed and now it’s just a complete waste.
My cats used to love this. We've been buying it from Chewy for 4 years now, and we've recommended it highly to our friends who own cats. Our orange manx used to go crazy as soon as he heard me open the pantry to grab a can of it. He loved it so much that he used to try to eat his brother's portion, too. However, Royal Canin clearly changed the recipe for the worse. At best, our cats would eat a few bites of it when they're really hungry and then leave the rest. It's a shame because I bought a whole case of the stuff, and they refuse to eat it. Hopefully the cats at the shelter will enjoy it.Unfortunately, we will be switching to a different brand to find wet food that our cats will actually eat.
Our cats love this food and we've given it to them for years. But for some reason, the last year this canned cat food is inconsistent. The last case we bought had two cans that were half full and not solidified. The can I opened last night was actually just amber clear liquid. I've never seen anything like it. There must be a manufacturing issue. I will be switching to something else until Royal Canin gets this right.
I was happy to get my Royal Canin Adult Instinctive Loaf In Sauce Cat Food but more importantly, my furry little guy was extremely happy to be getting a new flavor of wet food he can enjoy! Royal Canin makes the best quality pet foods that I trust to give to my cat. My cat is an indoor cat and not only does he not go outside but he’s actually afraid of the outside when we try to show him what it’s like out there (aww). My cat gets wet and dry food but I will only feed him foods that he likes and foods that I think are good for him. I can’t tell you how the food tastes, although I’m sure you all would think it’s pretty funny, but what I can tell you is that my cat loved it. He went absolutely crazy for the food when I put it down and he can’t wait to have it again ... MoreI was happy to get my Royal Canin Adult Instinctive Loaf In Sauce Cat Food but more importantly, my furry little guy was extremely happy to be getting a new flavor of wet food he can enjoy! I hope that he enjoys it as much as I think he does because I already placed an order for more! I would recommend this food to any cat owner because Royal Canin always delivers quality products that my cat seems to love, and I hope yours does too.
