Royal Canin Adult Ragdoll Dry Cat Food 10kg

Why a special food for Ragdoll cats? The Ragdoll cat was bred in America in the early 1960s and owes its name to the fact that it often goes limp when you pick it up – just like a soft ragdoll. The Ragdoll is a remarkably beautiful cat with fascinating eyes and a soft, silky coat. Ragdoll cats are large and affectionate, they have a cuddly and sociable nature and it's a great joy to spend time with them. The particularly soft coat of the Ragdoll cat needs to be well cared for to stay beautiful, especially around the neck, where it is longest and densest. ROYAL CANIN Ragdoll Adult helps maintain the healthy skin and well-groomed coat of the Ragdoll cat. This is ensured by a combination of selected nutrients, including amino acids, vitamins, and Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids. ROYAL CANIN Ragdoll Adult food is also enriched with taurine to support healthy heart function. The robust build and heavy bones of the Ragdoll cat can be burdensome, especially in older age. For this reason, ROYAL CANIN Ragdoll Adult is enriched with valuable Omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA (found in fish oil) to support strong bones and healthy joints. Another essential benefit of ROYAL CANIN Ragdoll food is the special mineral content that supports the urinary function of the Ragdoll cat. The specially designed, pyramid-shaped kibbles of ROYAL CANIN Ragdoll Adult food are adapted to the broad jaw of the Ragdoll cat. They facilitate food intake, encourage intensive chewing, and thus promote the cat's oral and dental hygiene. ROYAL CANIN quality promise All ROYAL CANIN products undergo comprehensive quality control to ensure optimal food quality and meet the individual nutritional needs and lifestyle of your cat. This means that with ROYAL CANIN Ragdoll Adult, you are offering your cat a high-quality and balanced diet.

The only food my cat doesn’t regurgitate all over my rug right after shoveling it down. She is a Siamese, and they’re known to eat too fast without chewing, we’ve tried the blue buffalo brands, other brands. This is the only one the forces her to chew and slow down like a respectable nugget she is. Yeah I won’t lie, it’s not cheap. Definitely not cheap and not the biggest bags. But worth it. I know she’s get proper nutrition at least with this food. Totally recommend for Siamese. Their breed specific food is formed by working on the issues certain breeds are known to have. So it’s a trustworthy brand.

My five year old Ragdoll cat loves this speciality dry food. The special balance of ingredients in this dry food ensures that the necessary nutrients keep my cat healthy. He has a beautiful long hair coat but never coughs up a fur ball, never has bad breath and has bright, healthy eyes. I would recommend this product for any Ragdoll cat the cost is modest considering the high quality of this food. The dry food allows my cat to eat when he pleases with the pellets remaining fresh compared to wet food that can become unpleasant and inedible if it is left out too long. No waste with the dry food so no money thrown away. Storage is easy....just seal the bag or decant the food into a large tin a biscuit tin is ideal and it will keep dry and fresh for months. We are Siamese owners of many years, but have always avoided what we thought were 'gimmick' foods. However our new kitten ( now 10 months old) was permanently hungry and kept throwing up - sometimes twice per day. After all the vet tests were negative we looked again at his food and decided to try this food. It is very expensive, however we have found the cheapest way is to join the pets at home VIP club and then pre order on line for store collection a big sack - takes about £20 off. There are 2 main things with this food - Siamese have long quite pointy jaws and this food is shaped to help them pick it up - some kibble is hard for them to pick up so they have to scoop and they eat too much and then can't digest it. Within a week of this food, my poorly Siamese has improved 1000% - no more vomiting and he is full of energy and naughtiness and even better has started to prefer this food to wet food. So expensive, but worth it.I have been really surprised that Siamese food really does work for Siamese - but it has helped out cat improve his health significantly.

My cat actually has an appetite!

This dry food is the only food my picky Ragdoll actually eats. She is now asking me for food. We have her on a dry food only diet and it has been great, no more wet poos or vomiting and much cleaner for us. Shipping was extremely quick and I look forward to purchasing more in the future.

Not cheap but definitely worth it

I have been feeding this to my 13 year old Siamese for about 3 years now. As with other reviewers here, I was fed up with clearing up sick! I tried a number of other options before settling on this which I supplement with a small amount of wet food each day. She absolutely loves it. I won't say that she's never sick now but it's much less common (and I think that the wet food contributes to that). The additional bonus is with her teeth. She used to get really bad tartar build up and that caused very inflamed gums and the vet was always nagging me about it I tried all sorts of 'teeth cleaning' snacks and even a toothbrush (which was received with typical Siamese disdain!). But since she's been on this food, no tartar , no sore gums, a happy cat and a happy vet ... MoreI have been feeding this to my 13 year old Siamese for about 3 years now. I usually buy in store and there are often 3 for the price of 2 offers which help too.

Preferred By Cats
17 December 2022

My ragdoll will only eat this- nothing else except a little gravy from wet food. our domestic short hair is the same.He will eat more wet food but will only eat this dry food. My stepmother had a very fussy eater and when I stayed and cat sat I gave him this dry food and he ate plenty of it every day I was there. Now my stepmother only feeds him this. - Converted.

Our 6.5 yr old Ragdoll has always eaten this food and even chooses it first over his wet Ragdoll RC food.He spends more time outside in the day than in and is very active. His coat is always in excellent condition and he has never been overweight or sick. He only eats what he wants many times a day with one 10kg bag lasting him 6 months. Worth spending the extra money on!

My Cats really enjoy this food, both Ragdolls. Prefer this to every other wet or dry food. Unfortunately wake me up every morning when bowls are empty.Happy to see my nearly 7 year old girl is looking so much happier and healthier.

Stewie loves it
24 July 2021

Upon receiving the bag of food for my cat Stewie, it was left on the kitchen bench. I went to have a shower and he had ripped open the side of the bag and was stuffing his cute little face with food. I am pretty certain he loves it. He is quite addicted to it. I mixed it in the container with the old food and he will eat all the royal canin and starve the rest of the day if it's not replaced. It's a winner for me. He looks healthy and shiny and his coat is silky. Very happy cat mumma xx

my ragdoll is literally OBSESSED with this food !! she normally eats really fast and it gets concerning at times because she'll start coughing but this kibble is slightly larger than regular kibble and she has to take her time chewing which is really good. plus the shipping was so quick I got this the next day!! its pricey but I do notice that she's looking very bright and happy!!!
