Chivas Regal is a whiskey brand of the company Chivas Brothers Ltd. In Aberdeen, a city in Scotland, in the 19th century, James Chivas began to experiment with some of the old whiskeys that were laid out in his cellar in the grocery store. A visionary act that would later change the history of Chivas Brothers forever. A unique blend of exquisite whiskies that were allowed to mature for a quarter of a century (at least 25 years). The precious Royal Salute casks in the cellar vaults in Speyside are as closely guarded as the crown jewels in the Tower of London. On the nose, rich and lovely notes of sweet fruit jam, blueberry jam, gentle licorice and aromatic marzipan rise, along with a hint of cinnamon. On the palate, one perceives an intense sweetness with flavors of juicy prunes, molasses toffee, dark chocolate and caramelized figs. The finish is long, dry and slightly spicy.
