I, like most others, tried this due to all the reviews. The first few days were great, I got used to the weird corn smell, although wasn't thrilled with it, if it was going to do what it claimed I was happy to put up with it.- First issue was the amount of dust. My black cat was starting to come out COVERED in beige dust and upon inspecting the litter the entire bottom of the tray has around 1cm deep of dust.- Odour: It is supposed to neutralise odours within 5 minutes. For the first 2 days it was ok. By the third day and more on the 4th & 5th day, I actually checked my unit for some 'accidents' as I thought perhaps with the transition, one of my cats may have had an accident as the smell was that bad. My litter box is hooded, not even open, and I went searching for both accidental wee's and poop's as the smell was so strong. I have had to clean the litter up to 3 times a day to stop my unit smelling like an animal shelter.- Tracking: It is all over my unit. the cats aren't kickers, it sticks on their feet, to their fur, it isn't just outside of the litter entrance, I have pellets everywhere and when stood on accidentally, they crumble and disintegrate to a powder. It is much worse than my previous crystal litter, I now take back all the times I thought that 'tracked' with a few crystals here and there.- Longevity: It is supposed to last for ages, however after 5 days it is looking like i will have to replace the entire contents of the litter box and start again. The entire litter smells and seems to be getting worse. The unit no longer smells like corn, it smells like stale musty urine. I can't see how removing clumps and topping up will fix this.I understand that the entire litter will need to be refreshed at some point, but I thought that wouldn't be after 5 days. Completely defeats the purpose and the claims for the price.- Clumping: I have found that although soft, if i was extremely careful I could keep the clumps in one piece. This I found I could deal with as it gave me peace of mind that upon flushing, it would disintegrate quickly and not block up any pipes. It doesn't stick to their poops at all, meaning that it doesn't control any odour even when buried. I have to clean after every poop.... not convenient and not amazing coming back home to it.All in all, I am really disappointed with the product as a whole especially for the price. I was really looking forward to it working as I love the 'flushability' of it and that it completely breaks down to discard it. I really tried to make it work, but it has gotten to the point that I won't be purchasing again. I will finish off my 9kg bag and that will be that.

I can’t be too sure since I’m currently in a trial period with new litter. But one word…. CORN - a high allergen for dogs & cats…My cat has been ripping her ears to shreds since I adopted her and started using this. After food trialing her first, corn became a point of interest. I never even thought to consider litter as the reason for her ripping her ears apart but when I realized this litter is from corn and has a LOT of dust (which can get into ears & nose), it all sort of clicked. I’ve had my kitten on a new litter and haven’t seen any problems with itching yet. But I’m really bummed out with this litter if it’s caused all of this trouble. I don’t think corn litter is safe in general. Just look up alfatoxin’s and that should help you make your decision on corn ... MoreI can’t be too sure since I’m currently in a trial period with new litter. But one word…. I've bought this product twice and have found it disappointing both times. It is more expensive than other products but I decided that if a single 4kg bag could last for up to 8 weeks, that was probably comparable to other brands. Also, I liked the fact that it was flushable because that would make it easier for people who care for our cat when we're away.Initially I was impressed by how well it clumped and the level of odour control. My cat was happy to use it and, when wet, the litter turns turns in a dough-like ball.Unfortunately I can not make the litter last anywhere near 8 weeks. My best is three, at a stretch. I have a single, young, neutered cat. I decided I was doing something wrong so got another bag to give it a fair go but still no success. It's too expensive to be buying it every three weeks.I also discovered, with a bit of research, that flushing cat litter - even flushable cat litter - is really bad for the environment. Water treatment plants aren't designed to remove the nasties in cat waste and therefore harmful germs go into the environment and infect wild animals. However, even if you don't flush it, you can still compost the litter provided you don't use that compost on edible plants.I won't be buying this product again.

Good clumping litter with low smell
14 October 2022

Clumps really well and is a lot lighter than some other clumping litter I've tried, also much lighter than what I used prior (a recycled paper pellet litter). There is no real noticeable smell that comes from the litter and the bags tend to last quite a while. There's a small amount of tracking when the pellets get stuck to paws or a pellet gets stepped on and you will notice there is a small amount of powder in the litter tray from ones that've broken apart, but it is easily removed to limit dust.If you do have concerns over dust however, I've found that it does have some when initially pouring new litter in, but dissipates pretty quickly. You can limit a lot of the initial dust however by keep the bag really low while pouring, (you can also empty it into a ... MoreClumps really well and is a lot lighter than some other clumping litter I've tried, also much lighter than what I used prior (a recycled paper pellet litter). You can limit a lot of the initial dust however by keep the bag really low while pouring, (you can also empty it into a container to scoop it out from, for even less dust produced in the long run). Not had much of an issue during my cat's daily use unless one of my cats is having a full on dig session.

Great clumping + Odour control
5 June 2022

This is my third-time purchasing. Best litter I've used so far, hands down. Living in an average-sized apartment, we've struggled a lot with odor control and whatnot. Tried a bunch of brands, and I've kept wanting to switch but after this one, I think we've found THE one. My furry baby loves it. I love it. Does not disappoint!Bonus points for the resealable bag!

The Applaws cat litter beats this one out in every way except tracking.I switched to this because the Applaws simply isn’t in stock anywhere at the moment and have used both for a goodly long while now.Smell: Cleaned once a day (one cat) this litter has quite a strong ammonia smell from only a couple clumped pees in there. Not so with the Applaws or the sawdust litter I have also used previously.Clumping: Good, doesn’t break apart much when filtering through the scoop, functionally on par with the Applaws and the sawdust.Tracking: Barely tracks out of the litter at all. You’ll have to judge this one yourself. Being a clumping litter we use way less than any non-clumping varieties.Dust: Like most litters, there is dust. There is definitely more than average in these, and it is white. Most of this is alleviated by refilling and full emptying trays outdoors, as the litter is heavy enough that the cats don’t kick much out when they use it as it’s all at the bottom. Sawdust litters are generally far, far worse for dust so this is middling in my experience.tl;dr dust and smell are this litters only drawbacks, and it is still much better in these regards than some others. I would still recommend the Applaws over this, but it’s a solid backup for when the Applaws is unavailable.

Pretty Average
21 June 2022

Mistakingly bought two large bags, not realising it was pellets, product name said clumping, which normally refers to granular litters, and the small image on my smartphone looked like normal clumping litter. Decided to give it a go. Opened the bag to a burst of dust, and a lot more when pouring it into the tray. Does work well at forming a clump with urine, but was surprised at the amount that gets tracked through the house being pellets. Need a new scoop as my old one doesn't let much through when doing the daily clean, will churn through the bag very quickly. Not a fan of pellets and this experience has just reinforced my view.

Pretty good but not as wonderful as others suggest

Nibbler has been using this litter for almost a year now. It's great that it's natural, clumping, and flushable. It's decent overall, but it has a few flaws. It's definitely not dust free - every time I pour some out I have to hold my breath unless I want to breath in the cloud of dust that comes out. Over time dust builds up and filters down so that after a couple of weeks there's a thick layer of dust at the bottom of the tray. But at least the dust stays there. It does clump, but the clumps fall apart very easily. Even if I scoop very carefully at least a a few pee-soaked pellets are left behind, and once in a while the entire clump just crumbles. The Rufus and Coco website recommends changing the entire tray once a month. If I wait that long the smell of cat pee is very strong. It does help with odour control, but not enough. And the fragrance does nothing to mask to odour.Lastly, the pellets stick to Nibbler's paws very easily so that even with though we have a big litter trapping mat she ends up scattering the pellets all over the house.I've stuck with it for so long because it's still better than most others we've used, but I'm looking for something better.

Absolutely horrible!I have been using Minx Corn litter for years however I saw this litter on special & read all the wonderful reviews so I thought I'd give it a go.It absolutely stinks! It's extremely dusty!I would not recommend this product at all.I will got back to Minx cat litter & be happy to pay a higher price for a far superior product.

I've used this kitty litter for about 2 years and I love it. It doesn't last as long as the package says but I have 3 cats. I usually buy the 9kg. I love that I can easily flush it down the toilet, it clumps really well and having 3 cats, there's never a smell of urine. Unlike regular kitty litters that seem to have a urine smell even when it's fresh, this litter has no odour when freshly poured. I absolutely love it!
