This is my third bag of Rufus and Coco Wee Kitty, and Otis the puss cat approved. He transitioned to it easily and seems to enjoy using it for his toilet. I find it easy to clean, the weeds clump into an easy to remove patty and the poohs don't seem to have as strong an odour. There is a fine dust when the litter box is filled up, but nothing like the dust from other products. A great product to purchase via auto delivery

Switched to this litter about a year ago from the newspaper style. Suuuuch a massive difference in the odour because it clumps so well. Tried the corn one and found it didn't clump nearly as well, so didn't last as long. Although this litter costs more to buy upfront than cheaper ones like newspaper style, I spend so much less overall by not needing to change it out as often, plus it keeps the smell down so much more. My youngest is so much better at using the litter box since switching to this.

I previously used paper litter, so the switch to a clumping one was mind blowing. I go through less as I don't have to change the litter tray every couple of days like with the paper litter. Sadly it does get dusty - its gets into their nose or on their fur. It doesn't clump into a strong ball that pieces will break and you have to pick them up individually.

Clumps great and is good for reducing odour but we found that it has a very strong chemical like smell which is odd considering it's supposed to be all natural etc. the smell is so strong it sometimes felt like it was stinging our noses so we were concerned for our 2 cats being up close in it all the time! W shave switched to the bamboo litter from this brand and already the smell is not there and it seems far less dusty!
I'm pretty happy with this litter. It's low tracking. It's pretty good at capturing scent. It lasts for 3-4 weeks before you need to start a whole new tray (it helps if you try to scoop out the dust or have a fine sifting tray). Definitely better than the couple of litters i had tried before!
I bought this litter based on a recommendation from my sister. In the beginning I thought I loved this litter because it was: 1. Easy to scoop (but not really) 2. Flushable, so no smelly litter bags (that was a major plus) 3. Little to no dust 4. Did not track (or so I thought) When in fact each day that goes by I stare to like it less and less, because: 1. I find the pellets everywhere in the bathroom and random places in the house (gross) 2. I have to have the added expense of finding a scoop that can handle the pellets 3. Some times it clumps good and other times if j scoop too soon or too long after it falls apart and creates a bigger mess 4. The biggest one of all is the smell of ammonia as you are scooping is enough to knock you out. I scoop the box 1-2 a day, because I cannot stand a smelly box. (OCD? Maybe.) At first you cannot smell anything and then as you start scooping, it releases the smell and is almost unbearable. I really want to love this litter, but I'm having a hard time doing so.
Of all the cat litter Sooty has tried this is the best in my opinion. It stands up to all the claims on the packet - it's a natural product made from wheat and soy that can be put in the garden or flushed down the toilet; it clumps really well and reduces odours; it doesn't make much dust at all, which was a problem with the clay litter and worried me that Sooty was breathing that in; not much gets tracked outside the litter box.
I had used the 4kg smaller bag before without too much dust, but I recently bought the 9kg and it was much dustier for some reason (sheer quantity in one bag?). I tipped a small amount out and while not as bad as clay litter, there was a visible 'dust cloud' which, as someone with allergies, I was trying to avoid. I've tried several other brands of 'natural/tofu' type litter before, while there is always some dust on the inside of the bag I'd never had a 'dust cloud' before. Hopefully rufus and coco can improve on their litter dust level in the future.
I am thrilled with this litter. It is wonderful on odors, it makes nice, discrete clumps that are very solid compared to other plant-based clumping litters, and it DOES NOT STICK to the litterbox, so no strong-armed digging to get a clean box, as with clay. Also, because it is 100% plant based, it does not contain volcanic ash (bentonite), which the clay litters use as a clumping agent. I don't want to breathe volcanic ash, and I certainly don't want my babies breathing it and ingesting it during grooming! I drop a star because I do find a lot of dust in Wee Kitty, but that is likely because of the long transportation times from Australia. If we create enough American demand that they can manufacture it here, I'd expect that to largely resolve. However, clay litters ... MoreI am thrilled with this litter. If we create enough American demand that they can manufacture it here, I'd expect that to largely resolve. However, clay litters do the same, creating a cloud of volcanic ash, so I opt for the plant-based dust cloud. What you can do for the dust is spray some mineral oil on the litter every so often. I've also taken to using a classifier, so the dust never gets in the litter box in the first place. I also feed a dry kibble that has a lot of fine particles, and sorting them out using a classifier has been a great time-saver there as well. If you clean your litter box at least daily (You can do it! I do 11 boxes twice daily!), the clumps won't dry out and disintegrate into more powder.
Packaging is great, clumps really well and seems like it'll be lasting well, but the smell is like uncooked dough and it's really overpowering and I can't stand it. Don't recommend if you can't have the litter tray somewhere removed from public spaces or if you are sensitive to smell. Won't be buying again, unfortunately.
