In one word, beautiful.I have been a fan of RQ for many years, and since Chaosiums 3rd edition, have always felt something was missing. This product brings it all together. I don't know what is more impressive, the artwork, or the list of inspired developers, including the originator himself, Greg Stafford (r.i.p.). But this takes all the lessons learnt, and makes them into a fantastically presented, and beautifully detailed RPG.

What can I say about this game? If you like to really invest yourself in a fully fleshed out world with interesting lore it's worth a read on that alone. It's system is timeless with a deep and deadly combat. If you find the high power fantasy offering you no interest give runequest a shot.

Great reboot of an old classic fantasy RPG! High-quality product with full colour art throughout. Recommended to anyone who's tired of level-based fantasy RPGs.
Runequest is deep and detailed role-playing game based on fictional magical bronze. The playing of the game not only revolves around typical RPG elements such as combat and social encounters but also the interaction of family clan nation and the world. Character creation includes family histories and concepts called Passions that help to direct your characters personality, magic and skills. The books are beautiful and well-made. There Artwork is superb and plays in important part in the tone or the setting. Be aware, some art in the book depicts artistic female nudity; mostly abstract. As a veteran of role-playing games for the last 45 years I find Runequest to be a refreshing niche. It really is a superb work. And plenty of fun to play. I recommend Runequest mostly ... This is truly the final form of Runequest. Takes the basic roleplaying system and beautifully marries it to the rich world of Glorantha. The magic systems are delightful. The cults, gods, and cultures are engaging. The character creation, while deep and involving and a bit time consuming, creates characters who truly feel like part of the world. The production value is stellar. There’s so much content packed into these books it borders on overwhelming but just take your time and dip your toes into one of the greatest settings and games of all time. And always remember: “your Glorantha will vary!”
This game was not what I was expecting, but this game system was very good. Every thing was as advertised, and shipping was quick.
It is in great shape, and so excited to play one day!
