Oh bliss! Finally I have a wide-slot toaster that is sensitive to differing browning requirements. I have really struggled to find a toaster that takes thick and uneven slices of homemade bread but this one does and nothing has burnt so far. Crumpets and teacakes don't leave bits stuck to the wire, and frozen potato waffles come out thoroughly cooked through yet still moist. It looks sleek and elegant although as others have said, more black than midnight blue. The only reason I haven't given a 5 is that with long slices of bloomer, you have to turn it upside down after 30 seconds to make sure both ends are evenly toasted. As you can tell, i'm a fan!

Toaster looks good but has a tendency to overdo things even when settings are lowered. Maybe will have to play around with it some more. Fast toasting and options to lift without turning it off are handy though (when I remember to use it!)

Classy looking, easy to use plenty of options for all your toasting needs , added bonus of being able to lift the toast during browning without interrupting the cycle. Looks really smart on worktop with matching kettle.

Oh bliss! Finally I have a wide-slot toaster that is sensitive to differing browning requirements. I have really struggled to find a toaster that takes thick and uneven slices of homemade bread but this one does and nothing has burnt so far. I was a bit worried after reading the reviews about this toaster but I wanted one to match my kettle but I am so happy and pleased with it. It toasts bread evenly and super fast. The bread fits perfectly in this toaster and it has a handle that you can use to check how it looks before you cancel the setting. Looks gorgeous too but it is a fabulous toaster so I am glad that I ignored some of the bad reviews and bought it. Love it!!!!
I love my stylish ombre toaster I recently purchased. It's very attractive looking with all the bells and whistles you need. I was looking for a toaster to match my kettle and I bought at a more competive price. Very happy with my purchase !
