This kettles size made me think it would not do the job - but checking the capacity it takes the same amount as our previous kettle. Just because it may look smaller than other kettles on the shelf, don't be deceived by it's size, it punches above it's weight its a great kettle !!

Hasnt got a button to flip the lid open to fill with water so its manual no big issue but would have preferred a button to flip lid while holding kettle in one hand Also have notice after a short time inside has the element burn stain.

Got it at discount price.. good product..only wish.. the Water level sight glass could be at place better then underneath Handle ! Difficult to see..when ypu pouring.

I live alone, this kettle 1.7l is perfect size, it is beautiful and elegant and works perfect. Also it is so easy to clean, no annoying finger marks like in the silver ones. Love it. The price was great, for under 100 bucks along with a lovely toaster
The Paddington is siumple and easy to use.
Can't review the product as it arrived damaged in the mail. After waiting16 days for delivery which we paid for from New South Wales to Victoria the kettle had a cracked lid because of the appalling packaging when it left. Put in a black plastic bag with no protective packaging it got smashed and the cardboard box water damaged. Due to unfortunately living in the prison state can't even take it to a local store. Have filled out the return form but as of yet, not heard from the Good Guys. Won't be requesting another unit not sure I will deal with this company again.
Great kettle, lightweight, does spill a lilies when pouring. I keep looking for the button to lift lid for filling but there is.none. A bit slower to boil than our previous but more comfortable to hold when pouring.
Love the white kettle as it suits my decor perfectly. Got tired of the stainless steal look from my old kettle. Boils water in no time too.
we bought this same kettle from good guys 5 years ago. it is used many times per day and still works. it is also compact, which is good for those with limited benchtop space, like we have. so, when buying a second kettle it was the obvious choice. so glad this model is still manufactured by russell hobbs and still stocked by good guys
purchase the paddington kettle from good guys recently to replace our ageing Russell hobbs kettle. the updated model is fast and efficient and a welcome change from our at least 10 year old kettle. The Paddington White Kettle blends in nicely with our kitchen decor. Have found Russell Hobbs Appliances to be very reliable and stylish.
