Nice quiet kettle, the spout pours precisely without spillage, beautiful design. Bought this kettle because husband was always complaining about how loud our old sunbeam was while he was trying to watch tv and I just wanted a hot drink. He's quite happy now. 😁

This is the best kettle I have owned. Super quiet, not too heavy, an absolutely beautiful pour and looks fantastic. I love the blue light when it's operating. The handle is perfect, you can read the measurements easily. I can't think of a negative and I have had it a few months now.

Fairly happy with the kettle, especially the pour which doesn't spill everywhere. Also lightweight.I didn't find it quieter or faster than previous kettles I've owned despite reading this in other reviews.The spout filter has already come off after only a couple of weeks.The on/off switch and lid are better made then some cheaper kettles, but this really does the exact same job with no extra functionality so it is quite overpriced in my opinion.
I was looking for a kettle that was both lightweight and stylish and this one from Russell Hobbs definitely fits the bill ! It's not too heavy to lift even when full and it boils quickly and reasonably quietly. Our old kettle was so noisy it interfered with watching TV !The blue light that goes on when the kettle is switched on, is not only a lovely bit of 'theatre' but is also a good visual reminder that the kettle is on (of course it switches itself off). This is my first Russell Hobbs appliance and I'm impressed.
Quiet boiling water - who knew this is something i will have as a standard in my life. The blue light is nice and provides the visual impact you need to know when the kettle is ready. Hearing this boil and not sound like bubbles will boil out is great. The design is simple and sleek, easy pour with no drips.
I always thought a kettle was a kettle until I purchased this kettle. The kettle has a beautiful black matt finish and looks expensive. It's quite when it's heating and the water window lights up in blue when it's heating. It has a comfortable handle and it's lightweight. The spout is non drip and the shape of the spout prevents spills and splashes and burns when pouring. Reasonably priced for a high quality product.

Attractive to look at, easy to use, quiet on the boil. This kettle was the perfect buy for my tea-mad family. We especially like the dual-sided level window that is not under the handle (like many other kettles) that makes it quick and easy to know if you need a top up. While we don't have any other black appliances, it easily blends with the chrome on our bench, and is easy to keep clean.
Very stylish kettle. Looks even better than in the photos. The proportions (height vs width) are perfect. The outside is a matt black satin finish with a very lovely feel. The handle is ergonomic and good for smaller hands. I am surprised how light the kettle is although the materials and construction are so sturdy. The lid closes perfectly and there is a rubber seal around it which insulates. It boils fast and the water stays warm for quite a while. No steam escaping when pouring. I love the spout. No dripping at all. The opening is wide so easy to refill. This kettle is real gem! Very happy. The only thing I would say if I had to find fault is that the water level can be hard to see whenever we only use ambient lighting in the kitchen (like after dinner).
