I spent considerable time researching this model and loved the features. At least 3 different sellers said it was dishwasher safe or had dishwasher-safe parts. Given there were only 3 things in the box and the main unit can't get wet, I presumed these parts must be the cooking pot and lid. So I purchased the cooker only to read the instruction booklet and find out I can't put the pot in the dishwasher. I'm so annoyed. I had a meal all prepped to go in, which didn't happen. Now I have to find another one. I wish they got their facts right. I haven't tested it so I am not sure how good it cooks.

I have been using this model - with the non-stick pan - for a couple of years and I absolutely love it. So great to be able to brown the meat in the same dish before popping the meal on to slow cook. I also use the inner pan for a few other quick cook items like dumplings that would usually make a mess in a pan, but you can quickly saute and use the lid to steam and then fry without any splatter. (I have also put the inner pan into our dishwasher on the top shelf for as long as I have had it, and it seems fine.)

I love my new Russell Hobbs slow cooker, I have never owned a slow cooker. I recently made a curry with a cheaper cut of meat and it was amazing how tender it was. The searing feature is a winner as I was able to cook the onions, ginger and spices together before adding the meat as I would do if cooking on the stove top. I live with stand alone power so the slow cooker saves on power and as my stove is gas, it saves on that too! I also like the simplicity of the controls, its a no fuss cooker and all I need. It's a winner, very pleased with my purchase!
