At first use it was not very hot most mornings. But now seems to be definatly hot enough now, which is strange. The metal on top of the heating element is starting to ( show what looks like rust) tried to clean it with baking soda, next boil was there again. Don't know how long I'll even have it for, might be looking for a refund sooner rather than later I think. Look for the birko brand, you can never go wrong.

The product works fine. Size also suits. Only issue is that it does not have a temperature indicator . Overall thumbs up.
In the first month the urn was working well. But as time past it started to trip the house power.I have to isolate with a power board with surge protector. so will not trip power to the whole house. And nowadays it trip no less than 6 times a day.Not worth the amount of money to pay in my personal view for such unreliable (possibly unsafe) product.
Great quality product which has been a wonderful addition to our staff room. Having the ability to make several cups of tea or coffee at a time and not have to wait around for the kettle to boil is such a time saver. Great safety features with an automatic cut out, so never able to boil dry.
The hot water urn is a great addition to the kitchen especially when you have elderly relatives. HOWEVER, I think an added safety feature should be a coloured float ball in the level indicator tube. This will enable those with poor eyesight to be able to determine the level of water in the urn. It is diifcult to actually see the water level under any lighting condition. Overall a good product once safety features are added.
We bought this Urn about two years ago as we live on a farm and we always have somebody calling in for a chat and a "cuppa"..so not having to wait for a kettle to boil, is a great benefit as the urn has a ready supply of boiling water for instant cuppas and coffee!!It is also a very clean looking product with its shiny exterior ,really compliments the kitchen!! Love my "Russell Hobbs" Urn..
This is a gr8 urn. Lightweight, easy to carry, the lid locks into place and size perfect for occasions when u want more than a kettle or two. Should have bought one sooner. Love it.
Perfect for a mid sized party. Heats quickly, a little noisy in a closed room, but what urn isnt. Easy to operate - good thermostat. Will be terrific for large family functions. It will be used a lot as we will lend it to friends and relatives.
