I love this iron. I previously had a steam generator iron that packed up after a few years and was replaced by a regular (albeit expensive) steam iron 6 months ago. I was frustrated at how often I had to refill the new iron and was unimpressed by its ability to remove wrinkles so decided to invest in this Russell Hobbs Steam Generator Iron instead. Did I mention that I love this iron?? It is light-weight, throws as much or as little steam as you want and plows through wrinkles like a dream. While I would never consider ironing as one of life's pleasures, this is as close to it as it gets. Hooray for R.H.

Almost makes ironing enjoyable!

I don’t really love ironing (I don’t think many people do) but using the supreme steam generator made this chore much easier, faster and more enjoyable. Out of the box, the product does appear quite big, especially compared to a conventional iron, but seeing the results I’m not complaining. This product is very easy to use with simple instructions. The iron itself is very light weight and moves effortlessly over the fabrics. The water tank reservoir is large which means you don't have to refill it constantly however this does make it quite heavy once full. First impressions were excitement. I’ve never used a garment steamer before and was very excited to try it. I iron quite regularly during the week, but only own a $50 iron. I tried the iron feature first. One word - amazing! Glided over my daughters pleated uniform with no problems. T-shirts were also a really easy iron. Highly recommend the iron feature. Next tried the steam function on my daughters chiffon pants. Having never used a steamer before, I was a bit nervous. Chose a T-shirt to steam and it worked fine. Ironing made easy

This is a product I always wanted, but I never got around to buy myself one. The Russell Hobbs Supreme Steam Generator makes ironing so easy, it doesn’t feel like a chore anymore, but it’s almost a fun activity. The iron just glides very easily over the clothes and you can use it on any kind of material. And you will always end up with the same perfect result. No more creases and you can change the level of steam, so that it’s just right. My husband used the Russell Hobbs Supreme Steam Generator on his suit, which was hanging up and even there we had a perfect result. I never knew what I missed, and now I just can’t be without one.

Premium ironing/steaming experience

Straight out of the box the Russell Hobbs Supreme Steam Generator is impressive, its one sleek looking machine. I love the colour and composition of it. I thought the setup was going to be more complicated, but it wasn’t, I was on my way before I knew it. The settings are simple and easy to use, and doesn’t take long to heat up at all. The steam is powerful and works like a charm. It definitely ironed/steamed faster and more efficiently than my current iron and my clothes having been looking fabulous. The steamer is obviously larger than a regular iron, so you would want to have the space to use it, but it did sit fine on my board. Overall I’m very happy with it and would recommend it!

Russell Hobbs Supreme Steam Generator

I am a big fan of the Russell Hobbs Supreme Steam Generator. It was so easy to set up. I really enjoyed using it. Rather than using it like an iron, I actually used it like a garment steamer and I was so impressed at how well it removed creases from clothing. My husband used it as well on his shirt and said he was also impressed. The Generator has 3 steam settings and a no steam setting which is good for regular ironing. It's a great product which is super useful and convenient as I don't always need to set up the ironing board. I can just hang my clothes and steam them upright.

I lent to product to a few of my friends to trial and they were as impressed as I was with the speed you can iron saving time and getting a better result than an ordinary iron. The only downfall I found was the water reservoir does get a bit hot so you would have to be mindful if you have children around. Seriously you need one!!

I can't rave about this iron enough........I love it! My new hobby is ironing which is hilarious because I hated it before this trial! I despised ironing but I didn't realise it was because of my iron! Russell Hobbs Supreme Steam Generator glides over even the most wrinkled fabric. I've tried it safely on everything from jeans to my favourite silk pillowcase and was blown away at the wrinkle-free results! I have cut down my ironing time because it is so speedy, lightweight and instantly leaves our garments wrinkle-free in seconds!

I will start with only 2 negatives….. the packaging wow it was so hard to actually get out of the box it was packed in was so tight! Next the instruction book, having never used one of these I was nervous and the instructions were very very lacking. I had to search on the internet and watch a you tube clip on how to use it! The positives, once I worked out how to use it I haven’t looked back. I absolutely love it! It is so light and just glides over my clothes. Ironing time has been cut in half and another bonus is I don’t have to fill the water up every 5 minutes like my old iron. I would definitely recommend this to everyone!
