The buffer works good but my experience with ryobi batteries is they don't hold up over time. In just a few months of use they lose charge overnight I've got three batteries that are now inoperable! I hope the cheep batteries work better, longer!

Ryobi system uses one battery for all tools is a great concept. Buffer works well. If you need to buff a large area you can use the larger battery but the light weight makes it perfect for everything. No cord to tangle, plenty of power. Highly recommend it for hobbiest.

Great tool. Not available with battery or charger... However, Ryobi +One tools all use same 18 volt batteries. They are $20 less expensive at Home Depot, and no waiting for delivery.

I bought this buffer to remove oxides from fiberglass RV. Buffer was rough running at times and when I went to the Oshawa home depot to purchase a replacement bonnet they told me that they do not sell them.
Great product and great 10 year warranty. Price varies greatly depending on where you purchase it. Should be able to buy for just under 40 dollars. Check around. I bought at Pep Boys.
I have been a Ryobi collector of tools for about a year now. I bought the 10 inch buffer as i like to wax my car, but a bit lazy.......anyway, this buffer is just fantastic ! Easy to use with one hand, it is powerful and smooth.IN ADDITION.... it has a foam pad about one inch thick. I discovered quite by accident, that it is the best back massager ever ! it's handleds are perfect for holding the buffer on your lower back !
I am a big fan of Ryobi plus one tools and have used Ryobi cordless tools for years. It is absolutely great not to have the hassle of extensions cords in the way of buffing. The rpm of this buffer makes it extremely hard to burn the paint while still getting the desired results whether compounding or waxing a surface. Low arm strain due to light weight.
My first polish tool. Waxed the car by hand and used to polish it. It did a good job, not only made the job a lot easier but faster. It only comes with one polish pad I would suggest you buy a couple more as they get gunked up with the wax.
Sooo much easier to use than a corded buffer, and you get the same results! The battery life (4 amh) lasts almost an hour and a half, and I like the fact it uses the Ryobi 1+ battery, as I have several other Ryobi products. Great buffer!!!
I was pleasantly surprised with this buffer. it is powerful enough to do the job. It is comfortable in your hand and the battery lasts much longer then I thought it would. Very pleased and do recommend.
