Recently purchased a Ryobi RPW140-G High Pressure Cleaner as my older, well known brand cleaner was failing. Was really impressed the way it removed mud and grease from my 6x7m garage floor and car mechanicals. While is is good to have a multi purpose nozzle it is disappointing Ryobi do not offer other attachments such as washing brush or right angle nozzle for washing salt and sand from underneath my 4WD like other brands do. Certainly canāt complain too much about this init that comes at a very competitive price and has an excellent warranty!

My last water blaster was a Karcher and lasted 16 years without a single problem.I bought the Ryobi after my neighbour recommended them.I used the water blaster for max 2 hours on the first day - it wouldn't start on the second day!Left it a day and tried again - it started but no pressure. Took it back to Bunnings who provided a replacement. After arriving home I started the Ryobi and everything seemed to work as expected. However the very next day there was no pressure. After 2 Ryobi 'duds' I wanted to make sure I wasn't at fault so took it to the neighbours to test. He started his water blaster - all OK. I connected my water blaster using the same power point/water pump and there was no pressure with my Ryobi.Took the second Ryobi water blaster back to ...Ā MoreMy last water blaster was a Karcher and lasted 16 years without a single problem.I bought the Ryobi after my neighbour recommended them.I used the water blaster for max 2 hours on the first day - it wouldn't start on the second day!Left it a day and tried again - it started but no pressure. Overall a great little unit. I've been using this machine 2 years around the house. Not the best tile and paver cleaner (compared to my petrol powered pressure washer), will get there eventually but not worth the time unless you are only doing small areas. Its highest pressure setting beam, that is able to take away stains from concrete becomes so small and concentrated that it's not worth the work. This is however a great unit for cleaning the BBQ! And saves you scrubbing time and great for washing the car and boat. It's never faulted in the last 2 years of ownership and I use it weekly/fortnightly. The only thing I've had to change is the rubber washer that connects the hose to the gun which deteriorated from age (easy and cheap fix)) Would be good to have a ...Ā MoreOverall a great little unit. I bought this 1800W pressure washer hoping to set up and go in a few minutes. The reel where you are supposed to wind up the jet hose ecame impossible to set up after 30 mins of trying. Also the jet hose became twisted and no water could get through. Could not untangle the twisted sections of hose. I became so enraged that I literally grabs the machine and I stupidly slammed it on the ground. I should just have got my money back for this rubbish machine. Get a Karcher!
Just bought this pressure cleaner 30mins ago from bunnings. Got it home, set it up and i could pee harder. It really is poor. It trickles out. After youtubing whats wrong, apparently a normal garden hose wont do (12mm). I have to go back and spend another 50+ bucks on a 18mm hose and connections.not one mention of this! Disgusting. I have a ton of ryobi one+ tools which iam a big fan off. This has been a big let down. Wish i had read the reviews before
At age 82 I decided I needed a water pressure machine to clean up my garage floor. I chose Ryobi as it was the cheapest. I did find assembling the machine difficult at first but then, after studying the instructions and putting my brain into gear, it all went together very well. I have only used it once and do have a very clean garage floor, but as the weather cools I have a list of chores to be done using the machine and have every confidence it will meet every one of my expectations. Great value for money and I am proof that even an 82 year old can assemble and use this Ryobi let alone the younger generations.
Bought this product to replace a Gerni that I had for just over two years. I had the same thinking as a previous review, Ryobi has some good products which I am very happy with.Unfortunately in this case the product is not up to scratch, the pressure is nonexistent, I can place my hand in front of the nozzle and keep it there, the trigger is too hard to maintain pressure on when using it for extended periods.I returned to Bunnings and told them that I was extremely disappointed with the product, they were only to happy to allow me to exchange it, I grabbed another Gerni, returned home and set it up, what a difference, the Gerni claims to have less power and pressure yet it is a far superior product when compared to the Ryobi.I will be doing more research in ...Ā MoreBought this product to replace a Gerni that I had for just over two years. Bought this with a few mixed reviews to date. Have a collection of Ryobi tools which Iāve used for years, figured it couldnāt be too bad for $129 with 4-year warranty. Lo and behold, have given it 2 x full sessions and nil issues at all, does exactly what I need a pressure washer to do. Compared to our Gerni which recently died, this has a few extra features such as adjustable pressure on the head as well as built in dispenser bottle. As far as the last review goes, you need to āprimeā these by running the water for 30 seconds without the power on to clear the air from the washer and hose. After that, good to go. I forgot until the very end, but Iāve attached a photo showing dirt removal from concrete.
Came back to Sydney in October being away for 4 months and couldn't believe the mould that had formed on paving slabs and wooden decking. My neighbour suggested a pressure washer to clean the mould off. A trip to Bunnings and already having other Ryobi tools purchase this pressure washer. What a great job it did. Easy to use and removed all the mould on both the pavers and the wooden decking. Only problem is now my wife is finding lots of other cleaning jobs
I bought this to replace a Homelite pressure washer that was giving me some problems. I thought this would be a good replacement but I was wrong. The pressure is supposed to be 2000psi, but it barely exceeds my Homelite model. When you use it, it screams like. Banshee, have to wear ear defenders. I found that by adjusting the nozzle you could reduce the scream to a mere wail but still very annoying. It is physically twice the size of the one I was replacing but not twice the machine. I have bought Ryobi products previously and have been very happy. Unfortunately, this does not appear to be one of their better offerings. It has a four year warranty, which is excellent. However, I donāt think Iāll be listening to it for the next four years.
