i bought my sander 1 month ago during the great covid-19 paintathon. i had an old sander which i had "blown up" and when i went to replace it i wasn't able to buy the one i had chosen on the website. lucky me i was able to purchase my 3in1 and haven,t looked back.it does everything i wanted and more it is easy to use the paper change is easy as well and the ability to use either self attaching pads or change the head ;a very simple process; and use rolled paper is awesome.

The filter doesn't work as expected. It would be nice it it was lighter. Otherwise, it is good equipment.

Purchased this sander to help create some raised panel cabinetry doors.Great combination of sanding bases for medium areas and the point allows us to get into the finer details.The rectangle base is an awkward size to get out of the box replacement sheets for, however comes with clips to retrofit large sheets if required. Changing the base was awkward at first but manageable. The bolts are just short enough so that when fully unwound, they still sit within the base frame so won't come out easily.Built in filter / dust collection is extremely helpful and saves on some clean up.

This is the second one of these that I have bought, as I managed to wear the first one out! The size is very good, lightness is very important to an older user, and the adaptability between a standard square palm sander and a featuretriangular "tight corners" sander is an excellent
Great little machine, better than expected actually and super cheap so if you’re on a budget but need a good quality sander, this is it!
Doesn't survive for long. We've had 1 die on us already and the new one isn't fairing much better. We are now doing 30 mins at a time so as not to burn the engine, and one of the screw that keeps the sanding pad in place has already fallen out and lost its thread. We aren't doing anything extreme just sanding back skirting boards.
Not powerful enough to sand back door frames and hard to find sandpaper to fit unit. only suitable for very small jobs
Absolutely disappointed and very frustrated! I bought this as an upgrade to my old Black and Decker Pad Sander which had been brilliant but was getting old.. thought this would be a powerful little beast to finish off sanding projects etc. Attempted to use it 4 different times and its pathetic, very little power for the 180W it advertised!! Very disappointed in this Brand. :(
I literally went through 3 of these in a space of 2 weeks. Used this to sand back my architraves in the house and the triangle tip kept breaking which renders it quite useless if it can't get into the hard-to-reach places. I would never ever use a Ryobi product ever again.
I am impressed with my new Ryobi sander. It is easy to hold and guide without too much pressure which is great for someone with osteoarthritis.
