The product works very well. The battery life actually surprised me, lasting longer than expected. I found 1 battery charge could easily apply and remove wax on the average sized SUV. Fine detail work still requires habd finishing.The only real issue has been finding extra applicator/removal pads(genuine)

Bought to work on dull gel coat on the boat. Machine works well and performs as expected. Only misgiving is the failure of Bunnings to stock pads and consumables forcing us to make special orders and two visits to the store

Used the buffer/polisher to cut & polish my car. Absolute fantastic mirror finish. Looking forward to now waxing mine and my wife's car. One of many great 1+ products from Ryobi.
I like cordless devices, they make a lot more sense than logging around a long power lead to get to your working area. Then, coupled with the trip hazard then induced by said cord, it's just not fun.I really like this device for those reasons. I bought this to polish our kitchen granite tops. It works wonders with a quick spray of meths, job done. Haven't tried it on the car yet, but it is comfortable to hold and light enough to control.
I used the polisher for the first time to apply a 3 step paint conditioning process to my car. The application pad is OK but the buffing pad just doesn't work well at all. It clogged up easy and the motor seem to struggle to drive when it did. I finished up doing most of the buffing by hand. I have tried to buy spare buffing pads only to find that the polisher is not a standard size. The Ryobi polisher is 254mm. The only ones I could get are 240mm. Bunning do not stock the Ryobi pads.
Ok for light tasks but lacks the power to cut through, the random oscillating is also really hard on the hands after a few minutes. I purchased it to cut and polish my car but was not up to the task, might be ok for light polishing on furniture but i cant see any other application for it.
Portable and easy to use. I bought this for polishing my caravan. Excellent battery life
