Great portable, small compressor

I bought this a week ago and it has been great. Of course it's only a small compressor, at less than 4 litres it isn't going to do big jobs, but for small things it is very convenient to just grab this portable unit and have the job done in the time would take to get the full size compressor out and up to pressure. Great for blowing leaves out from under car wipers or engine bay, or blasting water out of threads or crannies. Works great for my pressure pot, two runs of compression and the pressure pot is ready. Being a small unit it takes no time to fill up either. Conveniently located drain valve. It's not quiet standing next to it, but I've run it in an apartment and you don't hear it in the common areas.

Handy little air compressor

I have this a a portable air supply for airbrushing miniatures. Works well and quite handy with the one+ range I already own. This is a small tank so no massive jobs and it can be quite loud when filling like other compressors with tanks. Great for also filling things like tyres if you buy the accessories fit for each job.

It may be small, but it is no toy, Fantastic tool

My wife bought me this for Christmas, and it is awesome. It is so small it is easy to carry around, if you are using it to blow something, the tank will empty in a very short time, however, for inflating small tyres, like Concrete mixer, and wheelbarrow, it is perfect. It will inflate them in a few seconds with no problem.I tried it out on my small nail gun, and I fired around 5 or 6 nails before the pressure dropped and it started pumping again, however this was with the line pressure at maximum. When I wound the tool pressure back to around 70 or 80 psi, it fired around 13 or 14 nails before it started to pump and re-pressure the tank.It is great for blowing dust from inside a computer and the likes where you don't have to keep blowing for long periods, and ... MoreMy wife bought me this for Christmas, and it is awesome. When I wound the tool pressure back to around 70 or 80 psi, it fired around 13 or 14 nails before it started to pump and re-pressure the tank.It is great for blowing dust from inside a computer and the likes where you don't have to keep blowing for long periods, and where you don't want the hassle of using long lengths of air hose.

Light use and hobby work, a fine compressor
12 October 2021

Great for light weight jobs, which is how I planned to use this compressor. Don't expect it to act like a larger electric unit and you won't be disappointed. For my hobby work and occasional use filling a tire it is all I need. It won't run an impact or torque wrench but then it wasn't designed to work this heavy. Running an 18g nail gun, hobby work, cleaning dust out of computers, filling tires I would purchase again.

Pretty good little unit.
27 January 2023

Nice little product. It's quieter than I expected. Not a high pitched whine but a low noise. Very easy to carry and move around. Love all that.I don't like that it seems to take awhile to fill up and kills batteries quicker than I expected. 4ah battery and it was over half depleted just for me to go around my car and add 2-4 pounds to each tire max.All in all I do like it and it find uses for it.

Serves a specific purpose
2 November 2021

Purchased specifically to carry in the farm pickup to air up low tires on equipment. Not something I'd use in the shop due to it's low output but beats the heck out of struggling with large air tanks and/or gas powered compressors. About 2/3 the size/weight of Milwaukee with 75% of the output for 1/2 the cost. Since I didn't want to add another set of batteries to my inventory, I bought an adaptor to allow the use of RIDGID batteries and that was a super idea. A 4.0 RIDGID battery will run this compressor for approx 45 minutes.

Small size but works well.
30 September 2022

Initially, I thought one gallon tank might not be adequate. However, it worked just fine for my use. Quality of the compressor is top notch. It is not commercial size but it sure is good for me. This is my third Ryobi tool. I am pleased with all!

Small yet powerful enough for a range of jobs
9 March 2021

Bought this 2 months ago to replace a full size compressor that I rarely used as ut was a hassle to move it to where I needed it. This one is so small and light that it even fits in the boot of my MX5 so can take it to track days and alter tyre pressures easily. The main use is for quick inflation and seating tubeless tyres on my mountain bike. Kept all my old compressor tools so use it for general air blowing, Brad nailer works great, the pressure sprayer with nozzles is perfect for spraying degreaser under pressure for driveway oil stains and for cleaning the motorbike chain. Even used the rattle gun. Yep that uses air pretty quickly but you can easily take 5 wheel nuts off a wheel on a std car. Larger air tank capacity would be good but then it would be bulkier. ... MoreBought this 2 months ago to replace a full size compressor that I rarely used as ut was a hassle to move it to where I needed it. It is so portable!! As I have batteries for other ryobi tools made sense to use these in this compressor. 100% agree not suitable for pro sized jobs but general home use its perfect

Where are the hoses?
22 March 2023

So I bought this to replace my old one touch tyre inflater and brought it home expecting it to be ready for use. Imagine my surprise to find that it has no hoses or any accessories in the box. It is purely the compressor, so now I have to go out and source hoses and connections.*Just to note that the only place that it is mentioned that you need to buy accessories seperatly is in the depths of the manual where I'd have expected it on the carton so I would have known to get the hose before I left Bunnings."

nice light-weight unit
26 July 2022

took me a little while to understand the instruction drawings, but got there eventually. light weight compressor with enough grunt to do the tasks I needed to do (dusting off post sanding furniture, inflation of the soccer ball, obliterating cobwebs outside from the eaves/brickwork, etc). I do think it should come with an air hose though!
