So I purchased this Saw becaused i needed a dust free , perfect straight cut, set to a determined depth.I purchased a new , more aggressive tile cutting disc to boost cutting speed as a clean cut edge was not needed for this task. The blade was easy to change over. The water reservoir let just the right amount of water to the blade , keeping it cool ( which increases the blade life) and stopping any dust from escaping. The setting for depth of cut was accurate and easy to do.The cutting guide is the same set up as a timber power saw , nothing complicated.Im left handed and had no problem with operating the safety switch. The unit had ample power, is lightweight, with good battery life. I brought this to cut through 20mm travertine, well suffice to say after spending many $$ on different blade combos and trying to get a cut of 1300mm long done that took less than 10 minutes or the motor giving out, not once but twice. Yes you read that right, I brought on the same day motor burnt out trying to cut being gentle. Return try again with a fresh one, same. Thankfully Bunnings happily provided my money back... I do not recommend for any stone I am sure for tiles of 10mm it's fine.

I purchased this Tile Saw for a DIY Laundry tiled cplashback. I've only used a circular saw and multi plunge saw and I found this really easy to use. No issues cutting through tiles even without the water. The water makes a much smoother cut.

The new tile cutter was easy to use, gentle on the tiles and worked exceptionally well. It made me look like and feel like a professional. There was only one small problem and that was the cutting guide bar has a gap where the T junction is welded. The gap is about 6mm wide which is the width of many tiles that may be cut and hence the tile slides into this gap resulting in miscalculation of distance and maintaining a straight edge.Other than that it was easy to use and clean and just great.
Needed to cut some large format 600x600x10mm porcelain tiles for a bathroom patch recently. The Ryobi wet/dry tile saw handled it no problem. The water bottle keeps the blade cool. The edge guide was useful too, though it’s only secured with one thumbscrew and can flex a little if you don’t pay attention. I recommend some green painters tape to keep your cut edges clean.
Bought this a few days ago to cut concrete pavers, was using an angle grinder which was producing a tidy cut. Glad I bought this, it made the cuts far more accurate. Only two minor criticisms, first is the cut depth is only 22mm, not a major issue even with the 50mm pavers I was cutting, just cut both sides and tap it to break the remainder. The other criticism is the water feed misses the blade / cut area as often as it hits, so your 'wet' cut will still produce a lot of dust. Just keep wearing the PPE (respirator particularly) and it is fine.
Bought this tool to cut u sections out of 600x300 wall tiles to fit around a shower niche and it did a very good job as you can plunge into the tile without any issues. Its also easy to rip down tile to size with great results compared to my old score and break cutter. Only thing I found was confusing in the manual it says cut with the tile good side down but I actualy had less chipping cutting with the good side up against the saw..
Brilliant. Water needs refilling between each big tile but whatever. Cut 10mm porcelain tiles with no problem. I went slow and used a specially porcelain blade (continuous diamond, thin). Achieved a very acceptable edge.
after looking at scoring setups and cutting setups, seeing this priced in a very DIY friendly range I decided to try it, used it for some mosaic tile sheets hoping it would cut them ok, and boy did it ever. no dust (just mud) height and angle adjustment, this was the best option by far and now I feel like I can tackle any tile cutting job. P.S keep water nearby to refill it uses plenty of water to keep that nasty dust away from your lungs.
Worked very well. For the price it was perfect for DIY small jobs. I did have to buy a new 6 amp Battery as well, but I used my flybys points to get $200 worth of Bunnings cards, so that took the sting out of it. I have another $100 Bunnings card on the way (flybys from grocery shopping) so I'll buy another battery and then i might buy the Ryobi scarifier.
