I recently purchased an 18V ONE+ 45cm Hedge Trimmer 2.0Ah Kit to assist me in keeping the hedges, we have on our property, neatly trimmed. The reason I chose this hedge trimmer was mainly because of its light weight and ease of use; and that it is battery operated and also that it is a Ryobi product, which I have great faith in. I have now used the hedge trimmer to trim our large hedge [approximately 50 m (L) x 2.5 m (H) x 1.5 m (W) along with 3 other smaller hedges and have found it to worked exceptionally well; given the nature of the work required of it. Please note that I already have another hedge trimmer, this one being petrol driven and a 'combo' tool with other attachments to suit other jobs. So having purchased this 'new' hedge trimmer I find that I now have a very good alternative way of trimming our hedges, which involves much less stress on the body.
Great product! Charged quickly and the set up was immediate. This hedge trimmer worked a charm.
I wasnt sure about getting a battery operated hedge trimmer as i thought it wouldnt be powerful enough to do the job i wanted it to. However this trimmer made the job very easy! Its light to carry and the trigger on the handle wraps around so whatever angle you hold the trimmer at you can easily squeeze to get the teimmer operating. Would recommend.
