Although slightly heavier than a drill, it is still easy to handle and cut materials in all directions. The only negative thing that I can say is that the blades that come with the tool are not long enough for cutting thick timber. However, replacement longer blades are not expensive.

Another well balanced tool, I have been replacing a number of corded tools with the Ryobi cordless tools, the Jigsaw being one of them. Once the battery is attached the Jigsaw is very well balanced and so easy to use, even with my bent old fingers. I'm very impressed with the ease of changing a saw blade and working the switch. Light weight and powerful enough for the average DIYer. I have been using a 2amph battery in it with plenty of useful time before needing a recharge.

Such a great tool to add to my workshop. I already have a corded jigsaw, but this battery operated tool gives me so much flexibility and convenience. It is a sturdy tool with a bit of weight to it; this helps to hold and control the tool whilst in use. I am extremely satisfied with the “grunt” of the motor, it does not feel like a battery operated unit. Not sure why I hadn’t made the purchase earlier.

For novice or experienced DIY's, use with quality blades and it will become another go to tool from Ryobi. Has all the variable features to compliment blade selection depending on the work.No need to carry the extra weight of a lead or worry about cutting any cords!!So easy to swap out a blade, the design is focused on the ease of use for the less experienced but will satisfy the serious user (or avid Ryobi collector).
I bought this jigsaw to cut plasterboard panels and other small jobs. It has a good weight, is solidly built and has plenty of grunt for small jobs. The adjustments available for speed and orbital movement are great and easy to use. The base can pivot to allow angled cuts, using the onboard tool to loosen screws. This works well, but it is difficult to work out the exact angle of the cut; the scale is difficult to see and not very precise. Some click stops on the scale might be helpful with this. Overall, an excellent tool.
Very happy with this purchase. I was using a old corded ryobi jigsaw which i was reluctant to shelf. However the blade tensioner was not longer working and i bit the bullet. The Ryobi one jigsaw has so much more cutting power to my suprise and easily cuts all timber including hardwood. Yes i would recommend and buy again.
This Jigsaw is the latest in my current range of 37 Ryobi ONE+ tools. I am continuing to move away from electric power tools due to the ease and convenience of battery operated ones. I have had some of my Ryobi power tools for +10 years and they are still going strong. Highly recommend this range.
This tool replaced a tired electric version that I needed to use at an angle to get a straight cut. A significant improvement for ease of use and effectiveness. Appreciated receiving several blades for different scenarios as part of purchase. Great for small jobs.
This performs as it should. It has a robust feel about it, so you feel it's going to be up to tough jobs and will last. The no-tool blade replacement is very convenient and is easy to use. The best jigsaw I have ever owned. Highly recommend.
I purchased this Jigsaw to do a few odd jobs around the house, and so far it has proven to be a great purchase. Easy to use and set up, the angle cutting is a breeze, really easy to change blades, and a great choice of blades for all purposes, all in all, a really handy tool for the "home handyman". Again, another terrific tool from the Ryobi range, very happy with my purchase.
