They used the "reveal" between the Transparent Dust Bowl and the Main Body to exhaust air (as well as around the Logo Plate). 18V one+Lithium-ion Cordless Hand Vacuum

Ryobi cordless hand vacuum. I have about 25-30 ryobi cordless tools. This is the only one to fail. We were cleaning hardwood stairs and it just quit, tried two or three batteries no response. Only used in the house.Have one in the garage cleans sawdust nails no problem. This just died. Called Ryobi web service and basicly told it was out of warranty too bad so sad. No effort to help me out (could have offered me a % discount card to buy another one(which I would have done) or even suggested a place to take it for service. Nothing. From lawn mowers to shop vacuums, drills to sanders, whipper snipper to jig saw and rip saw, impact drills and belt sanders. Other products have been good but this one fell short and Ryobi's customer service fell even shorter.

Handy. Much better than expected!

This vacuum is very handy. More powerful than expected and getting used everywhere all the time. It's really much more useful than I thought when I decided to buy it. Be nice if there were at least one attachment.

Missing parts

I got this home to find the box had previously been opened and then taped shut again.There is a part missing. I fear that if I return it, they’ll put it back on the shelf and give someone else the same problem.(Note: Item was not sold as opened-box or clearance)

Not happy

Bought the new style awhile ago but just started using it as my older style I left at our trailer. The old style is the best!!! I have had it a long time and have never had a problem with it ever. This new one I dislike it very much. After about 1 week using it, today it just started turning off. Cleaned it out and it did it again and again. I was just vacumning dust bunnies. I am tempted to pitch it as I have wasted alot of time with it. Like I stated the older one (with the tinted catcher) is perfect but you can't get that one anymore. Not such a Ryobi vacumn fan anymore.

Ryobi vacuum no crevice tool.

The description says “ 18V ONE+ Cordless Hand Vacuum includes a crevice tool with built-in slide brush,“It doesn’t come with the crevice tool. When I contacted both Ryobi and HD they both said it doesn’t come with the crevice tool yet they still say it does. No offer to supply one, only that I can purchase an accessory kit. Rather misleading.The vacuum does work well but rather limited without a brush or crevice tool.

This is super handy to have! Ryobi does it again! Bought on sale and I am super impressed with this hand vacuum. It is perfect for small dirt and particles around my 3D printer and office space. I love my ryobi tools.

Very nice little vacuum.

Great little machine, love this thing. It's basically a dust buster that uses the one+ batteries. Light, easy to use. I like the standard nozzle on it, you can attach any standard vacuum attachment to it. I recommend having more than one battery. The large capacity batteries will give you more play time. My cons would be that the plastic housing seems a bit cheap, I don't know how long that will last. When you open it up, the black filter housing comes out too and can be a bit awkward dumping it. The filter seems to clog up quickly (good that it keeps gunk out of motor, bad that it reduces suction).

best tool to catch Japanese beetles

this is the best tool for catching Japanese beetles in the vegetable garden. add the slim nozzle attachment to get stronger suction. I have caught many Japanese beetles; much better than using bait/trap because a trap will also kill pollinating bees.
