This product is terrible and I cannot understand why it would have a single favourable review. As background, I had the direct predecessor to this product, which was replaced with this sucessor product under warranty. The successor has a noticeably smaller head, drastically inferior power - pipsqueak stuff - and is binding heavily every 1-2 seconds, requiring releasing the throttle completely and simply pulling the head out. I can barely cut anything bigger than a sharpie diameter, which is small enough that I could do it anyway and more easily with telescopic pruning shears. An exceptionally poor product that I suffer with while longing for the superseded model. Ryobi should be ashamed to take customers' money for this.

Great little pole pruner for trimming a tree in my backyard. Easily cut through the 130-150mm diameter branches I needed to clear despite being 18V.Easy to adjust the chain tension with the included accessory tool or any flat head screwdriver. With the EZ reach system, you can purchase the different attachment tools when needed.My only gripe is there is no automatic bar oiling feature which would be handy.
The EZ Reach is just that, it has allowed me to reach the branches that were previously out of reach. It is simple to use and like all of my Ryobi tools, I can't fault it. That said, it has to be used safely and correctly, and anyone should be able to use it.
Great addition to my Ryobi tools, cuts through branches easily, and the oil free design is great. Minimises any use of ladders etc., so great for safety.
Love my new toy! It is so useful for palms and birds of paradise. Really easy to use and maintain.
Great value as a skin-only product when I already have plenty of batteries. I also love the oil-less chain operation to make it as easy to use as possible.
Brilliant product. I wish I had purchased this years ago. It has saved so much time and hassle.
I love Ryobi products. The pruning saw allows access to palm frongs and lower branches and therefore I do not require expensive services of a professional.
