Battery took ages to charge.The power drill screwdriver provided was useless and burred immediately after 3 screws.Good solid and performance
This tool failed after 2 mths. Itis much louder then My mates makita. My eight yr old ryobi brushed impact driver is still working with well. ( you can still buy that one new for cheaper)
Plenty of power and great price for this combo. Two things that let this impact driver down in my opinion is 1 - There is no onboard bit holder and 2 - Like a variety of other HP range skins that they are introducing, it is missing the HP back connection to work with the HP battery's, I'm finding the fact that half of these HP tools are missing that connection to be very puzzling... Otherwise it's still a competitive impact driver. Would be 5 stars if not for these two things..
Such a dream to use. Had only drill drivers previously and struggled with jobs. So much easier now with this Ryobi Brushless impact driver. I breeze through jobs now. Thanks RYOBI.
To be fair, I expect all impact drivers are noise but this one is certainly loud. Ear protection is a must. I was a bit disappointed by the performance when driving 125mm timber screws. It gets the job done but takes an age. Not recommended if you need to drive a lot of big screws fir fencing.
Good value for money, higher torque compared to makita&dewalt&milwaukee at this price point. I am using this as a professional carpenter and so far theres no task the impact driver cant tackle. I am being ridiculed being the only one using Ryobi on the whole construction site but jokes on them! I care about performance and Ryobi is the perfect choice for me.
Ryobi have come a long way with the new HP brushless tools. I used this compact impact driver to screw off roof sheets into hardwood battens and it did it with ease and no overheating issues.
