Well worth the investment, have used this beast to drill fifty 12mm holes in a concrete bond around a pool. Completed the job in quick time using two 5Ah batteries, the drill was comfortable to hold and use, vibration was acceptable and did not fatigue my arms. Like the ability to move handle and set depth. Highly recommend adding this to your toolbox.I can’t give it a five star reliability rating as I have recently purchased however it is done well so far after drilling fifty holes.

This is a great rotary drill, reasonable weight and works brilliantly.Being able to move front handle to any position is a plus.Very comfortable grip and inserting bit is very quick.My choise for any concrete drilling.

Wow! This thing is the bomb dot com. Makes super light work on many applications. I used it to mount a TV outside and break up concrete. Soo good!
Owned for only a short time but has already proven itself a solid entry into my tool party.It's been the reliable workhorse for multiple jobs around the house where more horsepower is required than what the regular old drill can supply.
Bought this to manage some drilling into masonry for shelving. I had previously been using another brand, and the difference was incredible. Made a tough job so much easier and simpler. Couldn't be happier.
Bought this product as I have some work to do away from a power source. It made very easy work of drilling through a concrete floor. The shock absorbent handle is a great feature to reduce stress and vibration on the hands while drilling many holes. Definitely would recommend this product.
Great tool at the right price. The best thing is one battery fits a multitude of tools. This saves you money. The tool works well and feels great with anti vibration built into the tool. This helps at the end of a days work. Keep up the quality work Ryobi.
I've had 2 of the brushed versions in the past, both replaced under warranty. The first did a massive amount of different varying works for me and all quite satisfactory too before it died on me while the second didn't last long at all before burning out although I was pushing it pretty hard at the time so perhaps they need to cool a little between battery changes who knows. Decided to upgrade to the Brushless version this time round for number 3 and holy shat let me tell you, this thing is in a whole different league to its brushed cousin and hell, this one has definitely impressed me and verified my decision to invest that bit extra and go with the upgrade this time round.This version is double of the brushed when it comes to capabilities and just preforms so ... MoreI've had 2 of the brushed versions in the past, both replaced under warranty. Useful compact hammer drill. Still doesn't have the power that I was expecting from their HP range, and struggled drilling into slab concrete. It was annoying not having the chuck attachment to the SDS included in the purchase, and required another purchase, so wasn't usable out of the box. Will try upgrading my masonry bits to see if that helps.
