You may have seen the Hoover version of this tool advertised recently, the difference between the two-just the battery TTI industries makes Ryobi and owns Hoover. This won't replace a larger corded carpet cleaner. This is great for that quick cleanup of the stairs, cleaning your cars floormats, spot cleaning the furniture or cleaning up after your pet maybe had a bit too wild of an evening the night before and their stomach is letting them know the next day. I was really excited to get this carpet extractor. Having used it once for auto floor mat cleaning I relay the following observations: 1) a 4Ah battery was used and it got me through 3 large driver/passenger floor mats before exhausting battery. Swapped out and finished 4th. 2) must be cognizant of how the soap & water reservoir is inserted. First attempt resulted in all liquid leaking out onto the garage floor. Second attempt to refill and reinsert went without fail. Overall, it did an outstanding job of cleaning my floor mats. Do recommend this SWIFTClean extractor.

While attractive that this is battery powered, it did not live up to expectations. The suction is rather low and struggles to pull dirt out of carpet and upholstery. While I assumed it would get some decent battery life, I was only able to get 7 minutes. The manual actually says 15 minutes, but I could not get more than 7 each time. I returned this and got the Bissell HydroSteam and wow, that is a cleaner! For very light duty things, this may work, but it's not for medium or heavy-duty use. I love my Ryobi products, but this was a huge let down.

Don't go throwing away your Bissle just yet

I bought this with medium expectations, I have a lot of cordless Milwaukee and Dewalt vacuums and their run time is very meh and suction isn't always that good but this thing did great! I mainly wanted it for my work truck as it has cloth seats and it gets dirty quickly and it well exceeded my expectations. I threw on a 6.0 battery and got the bottoms of both the front and back seat clean. It's not going to be the thing you use to clean your entire couch but for small jobs and a piddle puddle on the carpet, this is perfect but for those larger projects or detailing cars, a corded one is the way to go. Excellent cleaner

Ryobi tools are unmatched in the cleaning tools department, this product is fantastic, much better than my Bissell spot clean I would recommend this for any daily use. The power and suction are great and the attachments work wonders. I’ve owned this for a couple of months and it works amazing for Cars, pet and children messes on any fabric surface. The Oxy cleaning formula smells great and is the best I have used.

Poor battery life

I bought this to clean my sofa and shampoo the seats in my car. This machine does work in the aspect of getting out stains, dirt, and grime. However, the battery when fully charged only lasts about 15-20 minutes. I am unable to even use half a tank of cleaning solution before the battery dies. This is a great machine if you are only using for quick clean ups. But for more time consuming projects I do not recommend this product. I will be returning this machine for a plug-in upholstery cleaner.
