High power consumption. 4Ah battery only lasts for about 4 metres on a full charge. But so far good calue for money if used for personal purposes.

Very handy machine, as a trim router only. It gets easily overloaded when tasked with more difficult tasks like cutting dados, obviously outside of what it’s designed to do.

I purchased this to round off the edges on kids play equipment when replacing worn timbers. Worked a treat. It is very easy to set up and use. Have even found some more jobs since. Would recommend adding this tool to your collection.
I am Ryobi fan. Slowly making my collection.I was after a trim router which is not very small or too big.Ryobi one+ was a perfect fit for my DIY job.Easy to handle. Very smooth.
I bought this to replace an existing trimmer which had a broken guide. I had a job to do which required a guide, but when I got the Ryobi trimmer home I discovered that there was no guide supplied and it was an additional purchase. I ended up going back to Bunnings to purchase the guide and was then told it was a special order, so I couldn’t even purchase a simple guide without waiting for it to come in. Come on Ryobi, that’s like selling a circular saw without a guide. You wouldn’t sell a router or a saw without a guide. Buyer beware.
If you want to route every piece of timber in your home this might struggle. It is a trim router and is perfect for those small fiddly jobs when a larger machine is just too big. This is super, great micro-adjustment, easy bit swapping and a part of the One+ range makes this a winner.
The best simple router to fit in also with my ryobi range of one+ .I have bigger routers for more complex jobs. But I now use this router the most of all as it has the best result for the more common jobs without all the set-up.Simple to use.
Couple projects been working on have been finished to a new level after using this trim router. Very simple to set up and use and easy to get good results. Have noticed depending on the material your using it on and the amount of routing needing to be down it does use a lot of battery so have to make sure you have a couple spares already charged or ready for rotation between the router and the charger.
Great product that does as it claims. Easy to handle; does not jerk when switched on; stable on your work piece; see through plate makes using the device much easier than conventional routers.
