Bought this hammer drill for putting up outside blinds . It did an awesome job I couldn’t be more please with it saved me having to run extension cords . It had more than enough power to drill into outside wall

I purchased this drill to replace my 25 year old Ryobi drill because of the satisfactory life of old item, but the controls on this are not smooth and feel very cheap as if the whole product is made of Chineasium plastic. Worst still is that the main chuck bearings had free play allowing the chuck to wander by almost 3 mm. Was replaced with another same item by bunnings but chuck still wobbles but only by 2 mm. My 25 year old drill still has less than 1mm free play in bearings. Where is this made and what happened to Ryobi quality? If I wanted a poor quality product I would have purchased a cheep product from internet.

Bought this Hammer drill to replace my worn out corded Hammer drill and my old Ryobi 18V ONE+. Hammer drill did a great job of drilling into a brick wall many times. Also used it with a paint stirrer. Only issue I had was the chuck not gripping the bits and stirrer tight enough to stop them rotating. A feature which is lacking is the magnetic bit holder my older Ryobi ONE+ has.

Definitely worth your money. Gets multiple jobs done with ease and uses very little battery power. Lasts for hours and hours. Highly recommend.
This is such a huge upgrade from my budget drill. It punches through brickwork (with the right drill bits) fairly easily. Might not be for commercial use but I think you could get away with it.
It's a bit more lightweight than I'm used to. Consequently I broke it in 2 week. Brushed motor not as good as the brushless offerings. But price reflects that.Perfect for small stuff
Love it. Very handy being cordless. Great weight. Love the interchangeable tools with batteries.
Not great Not bad. Chuck needs to turn a long way once a bit is placed inside once chuck is tightened. You need to tighten by hand a little extra.Or as is with all the RYOBI normal drills. You will lose the bit from inside the chuck. Also bought this drill went home to register it,looked online and it was advertised cheaper than in the store.Went back to store nxt day to check and came home to check online again and price had changed back to store value.Ps get your reps to check description tags on items. Bunnings Orange NSW Has a Battery operated circular saw advertised with a 2m power cable.I told tool shop people about it 3 mths ago still haven't changed the tag.
Use this very versatile drill often. It is great, if one knows that it can hammer into concrete. Thought this is not often used, it saves me money to not needing purchasing a tool especially for concrete drilling.
Great little tool, especially with the impact driver. I've used a fair amount of drills, old battery powered drills that were nice on paper, but didn't match up in reality. Electric drills, but the power cords and weather stopped me doing some stuff. Many years ago I purchased a battery drill many years ago, perfect for light stuff, but one you got to concrete and thick woods it nearly burnt out in my hand. Roll onto 2019 and I made the leap to a Ryobi impact driver and a 5.0ah 18V battery with a 3rd party charger. Not gonna lie it set me back over 100, but I had a prime now voucher and dropped the battery by and sale was on. So that started me on the green brick road to battery powered tools. I watched a few reviews and the 5.0ah battery was the way to go and got more power out of the tools for longer. As the lower powered batteries made the tool crawl and you never got that extra oomph for deep jobs, like a long screw in a wooden sleepers. Use a lower powered battery and it would stop halfway or three quarters. So far it works perfectly. Done some drilling putting up battery camera up in concrete, with solar panels. Drills nicely and getting used to the features.
