I Bought this enclosure to make use of my spare M.2 Drive in an older system. When I tried to insert my M.2 Drive in the enclosure it would not fit, I looked closely and it appears to keying for the slot is slightly off resulting in it not being able to fit. I saw it was very close to I pushed with more force than I was comfortable with and after getting the drive in (most of the way) I tried it in a SATA interface and it did not function. I removed the M.2 drive and put that in a compatible system and the M.2 works perfectly. This enclosure was a real let down.

It does exactly what it should, feels high quality, just be careful and make sure the m.2 ssd you want to put in this enclosure actually fits since not all m.2 ssds will fit in this enclosure. Wanted more internal storage space instead of having this drive connected via a USB-C adapter and I haven't had any issues since putting it in my system a month ago.

This item was described as a B key and a B and M key. When the enclosure arrived and I checked it out, even installed my B and M key M2 ssd it did not work. On careful reading on the back of the packaging it states this enclosure is a B key ONLY. My time wasted. After many hours searching the internet for a M2 ssd M key and a B and M key enclosures I have finally given up searching for these elusive enclosures. Does any firm even make them? Also I have not come across any B key ssd's.
