This is a true narrow booster! Would definitely recommend for narrow car seats.We got good seat to replaced the mother's choice booster seat because the bottom was too wide and covers the seat belt buckle so my son couldn't easily buckle himself.We don't have that problem anymore with this seat, if only we got this in the first place.

Slim line so takes up much less space than the previous baby seat, and also makes it easier for my child to do his seatbelt up himself. I chose for the safety features and for how it adjusts to suit growing kids, but my son (5) loves it because it doesn’t look like a baby seat and is very comfy.

Highly adjustable, so caters well to growing bodies. One issue is that it can make a creaking sound if you're driving and there's no kid sitting in it. The creaking comes from the base - the extender knob is not fixed tight.
Sturdy seat with a narrow base that makes it easier for the kids to click in their own seatbelt. Before getting our first Kid Guard seat I looked into seatbelt extenders and discovered they're really dangerous, so this seat was a good solution. Knocked off one star because after only a few weeks the fabric on this seat is starting to pill. We have another Kid Guard booster in the 'PRO' which was unavailable to purchase (possibly discontinued?) and that has black fabric that has shown no sign of wear in almost two years.
Great car seat, compact, light, and I love the safety features. It’s great for my large four year old and should last ages. It is not too wide also so you can sit beside it comfortably. It’s also a great colour and looks stylish.
I've been buying Britax for years as I trust the quality and ease of use so the Britax Kid Guard booster was an easy choice for me. My daughter (nearly 8) graduated from her Maxi Guard Pro to the Kid Guard and she immediately loved it. It felt comfortable and soft. The long adjustable seat is fantastic and I can see her in this for a few more years until she's 10+. The cover looks easy to remove for washing. Highly recommend.
We just received this booster seat and initially surprised that there was no harness supplied, then even more surprised to find out that the harness is no longer made!We watched a video re installation and even in the manual it all refers to the harness yet alas- one cannot be found....
Bought the item seeing good reviews but not feeling secured and confident. The item is very light and doesn’t have any armrest. The side wings are not a good built. I am not really happy as my expectations are not met in reality.
Perfect for 3 across the back, especially in a smaller car. The cut-away beside the seat means no more struggles to find disappearing seat belts. Also more comfy than other boosters for larger children. Tether strap is still a bit of a pest but I'd still select this seat for overall ease of use.
